Racing sims are niche, some people love playing the same tracks over and over beating their best times or racing online, believe it or not many like that sort of challenge. The fans have been begging for weather. What would you have Forza 6 do to prevent it from being a cash grab? Its a simulator, there is only so much that can be done with current tech to simulate racing on a track. Weather effects are pretty taxing, but they actually effect gameplay like rain for example. More tracks, many, many more cars this time are also a huge bonus.
I usually get about 400 hours out of each Forza game, I'm ranked usually in the top 100 on certain tracks, but it takes hours of tuning and polishing of the car just to achieve that. Its great fun if that's your bag, obviously its not yours, which is fine but its hardly a cash grab, with all they are adding I would pay $100 easily.
To me, The Order is much more of a cash grab despite being a new IP, huge production values with the same old limited, uninteresting gameplay we've seen for 15 years. The only difference is halo/gears have previous iterations. With as much as they have changed with halo 5, what's the difference between The Order and Halo 5? The Order does nothing new, in fact neither does bloodboure or most of these games. The point is, they are a rehash or something we've seen before usually. In my opinion, I like 343i's approach, they told the fans to fvck off with their new gameplay and you know what? Most of us like it better despite it pissing many off initially. That's pretty risky to take a "cash grab" franchise and just completely screw with the gameplay that already worked well.
