...and I'll be playing it myself this Thursday.
Get us some feedback and try getting footage, pics, whatever.
Try and see if explosions cause frame rate drops etc...

For sure. I'll only have my phone with me so the quality may not be great. I'll record one of my friends playing. I'll try to get a vehicle as well and see how the frame rate holds up when travelling at speed.Get us some feedback and try getting footage, pics, whatever.

Praised and then dismissed as achievable with current generation tech, which I do not agree with.

Just the frame rate and resolution they say though.
Just get something for us, to help us understand, if it has these issues then it is what it is.
Look for pop in also at high speed travel. DF say it's there.
Will do. I have to warn you in advance though, graphics are a secondary concern for me, over game play so I tend not to notice things like jaggies or pop ins unless they are very bad.
Also, I should point out, I don't think digital foundry are lying, or incorrect, I just don't care for their opinion on the game and disagree with their "not next gen" comment. Based on the last two games, I know this going to be a fantastic game.
Yeah well, if there are serious noticeable drops, I think that would bother alot of people, me included.I'm ok with the graphics in DR3, I like the game play element far more than anything else in this franchise, but frame rate matters to me if the game can't hold up a consistent 30fps that bothers me, lots of pop in would suck too.
I am a bit surprised about that framerate part. Capcom Vancouver said they kept it 720p so they could have a stable and solid 30fps, but jeez....20 into the 15's? That's not what we've been seeing at all in the gameplay videos so far.
Can you get hands on as well? Would be good if more people could get some hands on time with the latest build (now that it has gone gold).
I'm mostly pissed I chose it as my bundle game..I expected a great looking fluid experience from an exclusive console game.
Yeah it did. And he played it for an hour or two and reported nothing like a 50 percent frame rate dropWas it downgraded from E3? Cause to me it sure as hell doesn't look like that in the videos. Hell, especially Jack Frags' footage looked very very good in both graphics and fps.
That's just the thing. Nobody who has played it on the Xbox One tour has said anything like it. I know a guy who played it yesterday for half an hour and there was nothing like this.i not going to go by that article because I played it and I haven't seen anything what they have been saying at all.

I never thought we can come to a day where graphics are more important than HAVING FUN PLAYING A GAME. I thought gaming was a FUN hobby. I didn't spend $500 bucks to just look at pretty games, i want good gameplay and replay value and...FUN. Lolhttp://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-dead-rising-3
Bolded what I felt was significant from DF, not the greatest feedback but considering the game now has gone gold hopefully some optimization and patches can help?
Check the videos at the source!

Dips below 20 FPS is unacceptable. We'll see how this all pans out. I wonder if DF was able to get a good capture this time?
I have heard and seen nothing but awesomeness from this game. What DF speaks of is my first time hearing it. Does not matter to me. i play games to have fun. Thats what they are used for. i don't think you understood me. Might affect gameplay for you but for me its really no big deal.Frame rate affects the game play. Dips as low as 16fps is not fun.
Even if you put the graphics issue aside which many of us are willing to do, you still have something that could potentially break the game.
Right now, we just have DF, let's calm our jets and just wait and see if others report the same or not.

They're not judging the console, this is a DF vs [insert game name here] article.
This is judging Dead Rising 3.
It's a bit of a disappointment in this sense, and continues to dangle a question mark over the capabilities of the console's hotly contested specs when it comes to titles striving for full HD.
What would you call that?
