Well, this should make a lot of people happy. Triad Wars? Hong Kong only or across multiple continents?

Hi everyone! We’ve been a bit tight-lipped about our current projects over here at UFG, but we’re finally able to give you a little something.

So, we’re making a new game! We can’t say a lot about it right now, but you might have read about a trademark registration for something called Triad Wars? Well, we’re super-excited that it’s another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe, it’s something we’ve wanted to do for ages, and we’re very happy to be working with Square Enix again… but that’s all we can give you for the time being – we’ll have more information about what the game’s going to be in 2014.

As always, we love to hear your thoughts and appreciate your shared interest in the games we make – although to reiterate, we really can’t share any more details until 2014 (despite your best efforts to get them, you sneaky people!)

Hope it has giant hornets somewhere.

Loved Sleeping Dogs and sequel would be fine by me
 
Awesome. I loved Sleeping dogs. Hope they really expand on the hand to hand combat stuff, and address the dull driving physics.
 
Sleeping dogs was a awesome game, but after the story was done, there wasn't no use in playing it. I love games based off martial arts like Jade Empire, Yakuza and Shenmue.

I wish in the next one though, they would add more things to do. Like maybe you could go to the gym and do some sparring or exercises to train up your stats. Maybe just walk into a shop and buy things, just things that aren't related to the story that you have to find be exploring or maybe running into certain people.
 
I'd like a kung fu game that let you use environmental objects to improve your fighting.
Not so much the violence and brutal moves in SD, more like Jackie Chan using an umbrella or a towel semi-defensively and creatively.
 
Good stuff I really enjoyed the first one. It made me feel like a kung-fu god.
 
It's probably going to be MMOish. Regardless, I'm in. Sleeping Dogs was amazing, I would love it if they did a much more faithful creation of 60fps of Hong Kong goodness!

If recent listing on UK retailer website "ShopTo" is anything to believe, Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs is getting an HD treatment for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. This is not all the listing also carries "November 21, 2014". We have the snapshot of the listing below for you, check it out just in-case ShopTo decides to take down the listing.

Tell us in the comment section below, how many of you would like to see HD remake of Sleeping Dogs on Playstation 4 and Xbox One or a sequel for next-gen consoles would have been a better idea?
 
I'm loving that PC's greatest visual milestones are being offered for next gen console owners.

Would be an one as I thought they were working on a sequel and I think most people would choose GTA V over Sleeping Dogs if they wanted a sandbox remastering.
 
AFAIK Sleeping Dogs is already HD on PC, in fact if you install the game (at least through Steam) then try to max it out you're prompted to download HD textures (free) from Steam.
 
I'm pretty sure I play it maxed out in HD already on my PC....
LOL.

This is like telling a Ferrari owner they can speed.

However good news for Xb1 & PS4 owners who haven't played the game yet.
