Still doesn't make sense why you are call it 1080p and ps4k is "ultra" lol. They're both ultra, 1080p ultra settings is all they'll be capable of, unless xb1 is a real beast.
Ultra sounds like a better nickname for xb1 because the gap will be wider if it's more powerful like you say. That sounds way more like an ultra version if it goes from the weakest of the 4 Sony and MS consoles to the most powerful.
They dont need to. Hardcore gamers will spread the word, just like they did with the Ps4. Word of mouth can be a powerful thing. You know this already.
"Several" 720p games? Ah no. In fact, the majority of titles on the Xbox One are 1080p. There are 9 games on the Xbox One (including the upcoming Mirrors Edge) that are 720p. There are 860 Xbox One games. That is 1% of the games.
Of those 9 720p games, Killer Instinct 1 was 720p. It is now a 1080p game.
That is like calling the PS4 the 900pStation, even though the majority of titles on that console are 1080p as well (and only 10 titles are 900p).

I might be wrong on the KI Season 3 being 1080p. That was a claim over at Gamespot. I haven't seen a DF article on it yet.

Like I said it would have 2 be a MAJOR ie NEXT GEN overhaul for the Xbox Elite(that's my serious guess) to surpass the PS4K Ultra but even then it won't matter(see PS2 vs XB) Unless they released it as the successor to XBO ahead of the competition.

If the next Xbox is more powerful than the Neo, It can stand to be released a week later, just like the beginning of this generation. IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE and IT WILL bring back many 360 gamers who migrated to the Ps4 this generation. Don't be daft. Gamers are extremely fickle and depending on how green the pastures are, they will migrate to the greener side as to not be left out. How long have you been gaming again, or is it merely pixel counting that really strikes your fancy?
I've said this before: I dont think Microsoft can win this generation. Sony has too much of a lead for that to happen. But they can add more fans to the fold if they play their cards right. This generation thus far has been a painful lesson to Microsoft and I'm betting they've learned it well. Hence why I think Sony opening this door of opportunity for them to correct the ship, is risky. They don't really need to split the market this way. Microsoft on the other hand, is in a great position. This is essentially a clean slate.
The last 2 gens were won by the weakest system. So its a bit of a stretch to think people care enough to make any of that happen.
Which is odd because many of the Sony loyalists have stated the PS4 leads because of its minimal power advantage that it has over Xbox One. And the weakest system is losing this gen.

I disagree. Sony is making a killing right now because the hardware is a bit more powerful which manifests in better performing games. Word has spread of this fact since the beginning of this generation, therefore Sony has reaped the rewards insurmountably with 1080p playing more like a Sony slogan than "Greatness Awaits". (Although I will freely admit 1080p is hardly a real benchmark)
Previous two gens were very different as both consoles were released very far apart.
Also last gen the difference was extremely minor and it was not publicized. This gen, the "performance gap" has been talked about a ton. It isn't just digital foundry counting pixels. Most mainstream reviews talk about power and how the PS4 has more.
