Sony doesn't fully understand their sales success

Yeah Halo got stale for me in every way possible.
Gears IMO is a much better Series from MS.
It was wise and IMO it was one of the best things this generation thus far MS securing the franchise.

Of the series that have been around for a while now, Forza is about the only I care for anymore. There are some old series I'd like to see come back like I'm sure a lot of people do.

Xbox one and PS4 are now the same price and the PS4 is still handily outselling it. So no, it doesn't come down to price.

So... The Xbox One dropping its price was going to completely stop the momentum the PS4 had when it was $100 cheaper?

Price has a lot to do with overall sales -- especially in America.

That's cool, I was a big Halo guy for a long time but I just grew tired of it to be honest and after Gears 3 I was just kind of done with that series. I just have a hard time justifying buying two consoles now when over 90% of my purchases will be games that are available on both machines and will likely be better technically on the console I already own. If I liked MS's first party stuff still I'd probably be thinking differently but I'm just worn out on it and the new stuff doesn't really appeal to me. I do hope you and those who buy both machines or even just an X1 enjoy them though.
Whats crazy is that once those old franchises come back next year re-imagined, you will probably be a bit more interested. At first I was spent on Forza and Gears near the end of last gen. Now Im starting to want those franchises to return. I miss 'em now.

Nah, the only older games I'd have any interest in would be either Crimson Skies or Mech Assault and even then I wouldn't buy a console just to play them.
