Yup, so pointless. You're gonna lose in the end so quit trolling. The occasional jousting is fine in my book as long as it's understood that we're not being serious about plastic machines. They all have their benefits. They all have their shortcomings. Get over it people.
Don't even really care if PC gets PS4 exclusives day one, but i don't think that will be the case. At the end of the day i'm a console gamer and i'm still going to play on console. If someone wants to play on PC, then by all means go ahead. PC is a fantastic platform and it just got even better with Xbox Play Anywhere and PlayStation Now. Everybody eatin' good.
Netflix isn't quite as good as bluray, but if all you wanna do is check out Game of Thrones you can fit a lot of episodes into a month for 5 bux. Certainly cheaper then buying 7 seasons of discs.
You can fit a lot of 8 hour campaigns into a free weeks trial.

Indeed! All are eaten' good, and exclusives are now a thing of the past. More games for more gamers.
Continue to play them that is. Apparently PS Now is doing well for Sony.
Yeah you're right. Microsoft's strategy is actually a far better option if you're going to bring games to PC.
MS needs the software sales on another format help for its gaming division..Sony doesn't.
MS solution hurts its console brand.
Sony isn't doing what MS is doing so I would hope it would be better lol.
So why are they doing it? And half assed at that. Streaming vs. two digital copies?
They're not doing what Microsoft is doing, and that's the problem. It just seems kind of pointless.
did you read what I said? Do you visit gaming forums outside of here and see the talk of the shellacking Xbox has been receiving this gen.
I never said PSnow was good or a better solution to what MS is doing.
BOTH suck but the MS solution is better but being I think it also sucks...that's not saying much.
To each their own. Books come in physical, audio and digital.
Movies and tv shows come on magnetic tape, discs and dongle sticks.Cellphones and tablets
Now games come on discs, cartridges hard drives, browsers and Ethernet cables..and apps.
Fundemantally the content is the same. A bit of controller delay is a small price to pay to play a handful of titles without another $300 outlay. No its not 100% the same....but then it wouldn't be the same if ported natively to the PC either.
PSnow is a very close facsimile at worse.
MS has Minecraft, the Xbox division also isn't holding up the entire company as it does for Sony (its fantasy baseball at this point) and the minimum alternate buy in is an adequate gaming rig. A few hundred bucks at least. Its a little more discouraging in the least.
PSnow requires a PC that will play video at 1080p. Anything from the last 11 years should do that.
I do agree they are different things though.

I'm saying Microsoft's PC integration is better. Which you agree with, but somehow still take issue with.
Look, if Sony perfected their streaming method it could be pretty cool. I just think if they jump into the PC ring, it should be with both feet.
Right content isn't exactly the same and this experience is water downed greatly to some(me)
This will not hurt the PS brand.Many sold there Xbox when MS announced its exclusives were coming to PC.
Doesn't have to be exactly the same to render it exclusivity null. Since PS4 Pro, the the vast majority of PS4 experiences are watered down and sub optimal and people are getting by. So they'll certainly get by with this.
Lol, did they really? Well it certainly isn't going to convince an Xbox or PC only owner to invest in a PS4 when they already have access to 99% of the same games and the other 1% are up for free trial on hardware they already own. That's some lost business, but I guess Sony figured the PSNow demand was worth it.

Time and time again Val is the lone wolf battling against everyone else on forums. You'd think at some point he would realize that he's an outlier and his thoughts and actions rarely align with the majority. Actually, I think he does realize this but he once again he's attempting to build and argument out of sand.
I brought up that Sony's gaming division doesn't need to branch off into PC with its exclusives like MS does because they don't and I believe(and agree) they think it would hurt the console gaming division. Wasn't meant to bring sales type talk.
What they are doing isn't a jump into the PC realm nor will they jump into the PC realm.
I don't have these problems in multi-format gaming forums besides this one and its because of the origins which is fine or I wouldn't be here but does gets annoying at times.
Shellacking is happening on PS oriented sites of course. Just like PS is getting shellacked on Xbox sites.
