Have you moved beyond having 4 people? I finished up with the quest to get the antidote for your friend. I had to go out and find a resource rucksack. But I couldn’t figure out how to move it out from my pack and into the inventory. I ended up breaking it apart by mistake.

I have 6 people in my community right now.

That's what I understood and thank you for letting us know. It been quite a challenge to go to the bathroom while outside the safety of my base.

Yeah. I only played for an hour last night but at one point I left the characters in the base and went to the toilet only to hear a big attack start the second I’m committed in the bathroom. #firstworldproblems

Pause is just the thing I needed.

I've actually stood by to watch and see how my community deals with a zombie attack at my base. And you know what my people are quite capable at dispatching the undead. I've actually noticed that the AI companions I've had with me on supply runs are also pretty good and squashing zombie brains. They can get a little lost or drag behind me at times. But I'm surprised just how effective the AI is given what I've read about this game before I actually got to play it.

I seen a tip on reddit that if you park vehicles on the parking spot at your home base you can transfer to storage with RT.

I just found out you open the rucksacks. I was in dire need of gasoline and had a fuel rucksack in trunk of car. I opened it and it gave me a gas can and molotov. Problem solved.

Yeah the sacks are used for storage. While a gas can will go in your supply stash.

Almost lost 2 guys to a bloater and we were so far away. We scavenged for some bandages. Those kinds of moments is what's cool about.

Man, I thought the plateau would've been easier to drive around. I have to take a road to get all the way around to the other side of town when I rather just go there in a straight line. And doing it at night is a bear. Stay on the roads at most times.

So... for you guys/girls/rather not tell that have played the game; game around a 6/10 as reviews seem to indicate?

So far no, definitely not. I’d be putting it in the 7.5/8 area.

This game totally triggers my anxiety, good lord.

Found a odd issue, one of my survivors got the blood plague and I admistered the cure, however it didn't work, it did not cure them. I checked them into the infirmary and then administered the cure again and it worked. Did it not work the first time because I didn't stabilize them first in the infirmary before administering the cure?

Based on the reasoning for those scores, no.

Right now, I would give it a solid 7.5/10.

Yes, I believe so.

I'd put it at 7.5. People I've talked to who actually play it and has put time in it love the game. Like me, they're having a hard time putting the controller down.

How come this game is only p2p instead of MS servers?

Because its primarily an offline game. You would have to run *all* games on servers which is expensive or have a system which dynamically shift to server hosted when in co-op which is technically way too complicated.

Man,that FoV inside houses will take some getting use to lol...way too close.I just did the tutorial section and went to the smaller home on the way to the other suggested place and stopped for now...I took the Odd Couple ;) .Did you guys with 4k HDR touch the settings/sliders much or just left it at defaults...? my game was a little too dark with HDR,might bring it up.

Brought mine up a smidge.

Any of you noticing the framerate at your base turning into a slide show? It's probably because all of the zombie bodies are just left to pile up after sieges instead of being cleaned up but I must be getting 10-15fps a lot of the time at my new home base.

The more time I've spent with it the more I agree with the scores, it's a basic game and the tech issues alone are enough to knock what would have been a 7 based on content down into the 6's IMO. It's not that it's a bad concept or has bad bones or that it's not fun because there is fun to be had, I wouldn't be playing it if I didn't find it fun but so many things seem unfinished or half assed that it just looks like a game that should have been released as early access or just delayed a good 6 months so they could have cleaned it up. I'm really having a hard time believing it's 4K on the One X, I know it's the crazy blur thing they are using but it looks nowhere near as sharp as any other 4K game (native or CB) that I've played.

After realizing I had to click the right stick for every little level jump on the slider instead of just holding the stick to the right I just left it at default, using a flashlight in houses at night and it's okay. I think the devs made it pitch black for a reason but I understand what you mean.

Also trying to get clear info on how co op works for the guest? Does your base freeze in your community while guesting but you get loot transferred to your own base anyway? If that's the case then I can see some perks with doing that.

Agree on the graphics, been playing ac ezio collection which is 1080p and that looks much, much sharper and cleaner than this. Awhile since I played the first state of decay on xbox one but honestly this looks the same from my memory of the first.

I've never played a State of Decay game and I don't really care for zombie games but from what I've played so far, its at worst a 7/10 game. I'm playing on my PC and while the graphics are not anything to write home about the game itself is pretty interesting. I keep finding myself having to tear my self away from it to do other thing. That might just be new game syndrome but this actually feels fun and interesting. When my game-pass is up, I might actually buy the game to keep. Its a nice little timewaster.

TLDR: I'm enjoying it and haven't it any gamebreaking bugs so 8/10.

God damned home status is hopeless and it says my food stock pile is depleted. I made a God damn garden. What more do they want? How do I feed these f***ers? I even captured a place that now shows a piece of pizza on it and these people are still hopeless. What am I missing?
