I'm still losing more food in my base and I'm on day 2 or 3. However, I keep enough in there. I'm trying to buy time until I move and get a garden.

Grab some outposts to put more food into the base. You could let people go to. How many do you have?

I have one food outpost and a garden.

God damned home status is hopeless and it says my food stock pile is depleted. I made a God damn garden. What more do they want? How do I feed these f***ers? I even captured a place that now shows a piece of pizza on it and these people are still hopeless. What am I missing?
You might have to exile someone

Couple hours in so far so good. Yeah the graphics are rough, they get the job done. Having fun going on supply runs this is getting addicting lol. Should I not build too much in my starter base? Just wait till I move to a new place?

Oh and f*** ladders. The first two towers I went up and down no problem. That 3rd tower that b**** tried to kill me! Just ran over the ladder like it wasn’t even there....

Because its primarily an offline game. You would have to run *all* games on servers which is expensive or have a system which dynamically shift to server hosted when in co-op which is technically way too complicated.
MS owns the servers, that should be a no-brainer to put their titles on the server.

Man,the item inventory management so early on is annoying,I dont understand why it says I am full,I think I dont get the sacks...? why does it say ''TAKE'' on one of my slot but nothing happens or it says press X and nothing happens...? or why cant I unequip an item on the fly to equip a better one of the same or even drop it...?I am missing one sample to cure Ellie...I have a exclamation point in my base that you can go to from the menu, guess I need one more sample...not use to so many management that you need to track down, might not be for me lol.

Meant to only play for an hour tonight on my first session, did 3 hours instead. Guess I won't be going to bed on time tonight! Had a lot of fun, definitely a lot of improvements from the Year One edition of the first game. Took me a while to get used to some of the changed controls since I was just learning them on the Year One Edition. No issues or complaints with the game so far aside from annoyances with closing the gates to my first base.

I messed up, had a great base going (other than the framerate lol) and I ended up getting the explorer itch and went to the valley location, I was only half looking at the prompts because a zombie was attacking my car at the time but I didn't see until the last second that leaving means you can never come back, I thought I'd just be able to go check out a new area and come home lol. That's my fault for not paying attention to the text but damn I had a good set up at a truck stop and now I'm getting things set up at a winery.

I do wish the other survivors would stop bitching when we don't have enough beds, it's not like they sleep in them anyway lol. Every time I walk by the beds are empty and people are sitting in chairs, they slept in beds in the first game but they don't in this one for some reason.

Time for bed, I put in a good 4 hours and it flew by. Picked the best friends to start with and went to the valley. I helped the neighbor then kept him a neighbor. I’m still sitting with 4 people they are cheerful and I built an infirmary, workshop, and garden. Supplies/resources are pretty full. When I get a chance to play again I have a mission to go check out some new neighbors.

So far I would rate this an easy 7/10. Addicting game.

Garden only gives 1food per day. Go to the Base screen and check the Morale menu. It will tell you what is making each character happy and sad. If you need food use the radio to find food resources on the map.

To get other bases you need 1000 to 1500 influence and each base as a people number requirement too. I would say build what you need at your starter base, get 2 outposts...and then go look for new bases and see what you want and what you need to get it.

When it comes to outposts you really want to get ones that give you bonuses that you can't really scavenge for, like water. I use my car all the time so fuel is a must for me, so I got an outpost that does 1 fuel per day.

I played about 5 hours of Co-op last night and it worked great. Much better than I had expected. The only issues I came across were the odd lag rubber band and some bad clipping while sneaking into a house. Over all it worked great. I had to pull myself away from it last night.

This game doesn't let up. There's always a pressing matter to attend to and you really feel f'ked when your next mission starts at night. Trini has gotten zero sleep and I'm too scared to use the doc or the army lady to go out.

I'm supposed to get blood plague samples next after having build the infirmary..I have a feeling s*** is about to hit the fan. The game is really fun and time flies while you're playing. Seeing the infirmary pop up gives you a sense of accomplisment.

This franchise could be huge if they put some serious MS money behind it.

My army lady is a billy bad-ass. A one woman army. I use her as much as I can.

I am stuck at finiding one more sample also but now they are hungry, they are depressed etc etc lol...I think I will start a new game(community) but leave the first gang open and see if I can get out of the mess I'm in...I mean everything on the upper left corner is red...I scavenged and did too many little shacks and what not that I could not claim because of low influence...thats another thing they dont explain too well at first...but I like it enough to keep going, very addictive like many said, wanted to play an hour last night and played close to 3.

Anyway I will leave my new game open for friends(not sure if that includes clubs)and will be on in about 1 hour, GT is Ricker...I can play for at least one hour.

I found a survivor that says her specialty is driver. I looked at it and it said 100% fuel efficiency. I'll choose her to go on the other side of the map cause while she's driving I barely use any fuel.

I KNEW I should have gone with the carpet munchers!
She isn't even one of those.

But one of my muff divers is also a bad-ass. Drop kicking zombies to high heaven and round house pelting them in the face with any blunt object she can muster. Great cardio, fighting, picked up mechanics hella quick. Shame her other half is a half wit bringing morale down all the time..gunna take this one to plague heart, get her infected and execute her.

I need a driver for the RV you have to find at the start of the game.

Samples are easy...just go kill zombies with glowing red eyes(plague Heart Zombies) and they will drop them.

Food is just scavenging, anything with a pizza sign likely has food. Go scavenge.

Starting over kind of defeats the purpose of the game. Just keep going.

Can you abandon an Outpost? I picked one early on near my base before I really knew what to look for. I would rather them give me something else.

Another thing, we have two XBox’s so I downloaded SoD2 on the other one. To play co-op does the 2nd person have to have their own world started before they can join me? Or can they join me from menu without them even starting a game?

Found out how you customize vehicles and turn them into mad max machines. You need a heavy vehicle upgrade toolkit. Then just park the car at a car space, go the base menu, select the carpark where the car is and finally select upgrade. Each vehicle has a specific upgrade.

I have no choice,I am too deep in a hole and I still dont understand half of what the game tells me to do...the UI is atrocious I think for a game that needs this much management...I have enough sample but I can not make the cure because my + is at 0...? why? the quest tracker tells me to go to the infirmary to make the cure...I go there,I cant make it...how can I fix this...?

I told you guys some pages back that they are suff I hate in games and besides the night being too dark, which is not really and quite manageable, everything else is there, from weapon breaking to almost everything on a timer,to inventory being full etc etc...

Theres about 6 places I could claim but I dont have enough influence, very annoying, the doctor status is hopeless but she still hangs aound but I will have to exile her...I think I started building a garden but I am not sure...taking a break for now, maybe someone can invite me in their game later to help me figure things out.
