The 2018/2019 NBA Season Thread...

Still early but the Celtics seem lost. I really feel like they had a better chemistry without Irving.

Wizards got anyone of worth for the Bulls? Wall, Beal maybe. Although lol reading about Wall swearing at his coach during practice.

Went to my first NBA game this past Wednesday. Bucks vs Trail Blazers. Definitely picked the right game to go to as the Bucks demolished the Trailer Blazers to get revenge from an earlier loss this season. Seats were pretty good. Row 12 corner section. Initially thought pricing was crazy but honestly it's not when I compare it to NHL games I guess, although week nights definitely better. Unfortunately it's a three hour drive there or Chicago so hard to catch more games but I'd still like to see a couple more this season, especially in Chicago since pricing should be fairly good... :(

Anyways I will say the overall atmosphere and entertainment is better than all other major sports. It's been a while since I was at an NFL game but I don't remember much outside of the game itself. Same with baseball for the most part. NHL is the only thing with really anything during intermissions for non hockey entertainment. NBA on the other hand you've got bumping music going, cheerleaders and dance crew, tons of giveaways and excitement even during commercial breaks, including this automatic t-shirt launcher lol

Man Arcidiacono is a beast. Bulls had Cyber Monday deal for 50% off tickets so grabbed one to the Dec 21 game. 300 tier but ticket was only $30 so whatever.

So.... Derrick Rose seems to be back? His numbers this season rival his MVP season. Wtf?

Bulls playing great against the Thunder right now. 70 damn points in the first half hasn't happened in a while.

I used to be a Timberwolves fan and sometime during Wiggins/Lavines sophomore season I told everyone Lavine was going to be the better player. I was mocked, ridiculed, and publicly shamed for my hot take.

Where are my detractors now though?

Will be interesting to see what him and Markkanen can do together once both are healthy.

"Just how soft and entitled are today’s players? The Bulls lose by 56 — worst loss in team history — and the coach calls for practice the next day, a Sunday during a busy stretch. And some of the players respond by threatening a boycott?! After being embarrassed, they should be thanking the coach for a chance to get better. What am I missing? — Bill C., Chicago"

Oh boy another armchair fat ass. Seeing a lot of this in mailbags or Twitter about how lazy the Bulls are because they didn't want to practice the day after a back to back, with another game the next day. PlAyErS aRe LaZy. Half the people complaining about this couldn't run down the court once without running out of breath.

"Bill Cartwright"?

I've always said that NBA players are the most down to earth people on the planet. Something about their childhood celebrity status and their high saleries makes them so salt of the earth.

It's so weird watching the Jazz this year. They were so dominant the last 45 games of last year. But this...this hurts.

Westbrook is a bitch. Shoves Dunn and then cries when he gets shoved back. Also, delete this if against policy Plainview , but locast.org is great for local channels in select cities. For example I get CSN Chicago through Hulu TV, but not WGN since it's a local Chicago station. I can set my Chrome browser to geolocate in Chicago and use that website to stream WGN, which I then project to my TV. They only have a handful of cities but still great either way.

Going to the Bulls game tonight. Sucks LaVine and Portis are out again. At least my boy WCJ should be playing.
