People voted for this dumb f***. Think about that...

This is a pretty long video and although 90% of it isn't about politics I think the point at the end that he makes is a great one and hopefully something the vast majority of people in this country can agree with. If you are a sympathy crier get some tissues ready:)

So the republicassholes are pushing through a vote on repealing the Affordable Care Act without reviewing it, without waiting for a bi-partisan review of it, and not allowing their voters to review it. The major provision is that the new bill will allow states to opt out of pre-existing conditions which would allow insurance companies to charge people whatever they want, not at all, or refuse to cover a pre-existing condition and find a loophole to not cover something because they'll claim it was caused by a pre-existing condition.

Trump is about to sign a Religious Liberty Order? Are we all in the Twilight Zone or something?

Pre-existing conditions was the one thing everybody agreed should have gone untouched. If I was in congress you couldn't get me to touch this thing without a CBO score or at least one credible national poll to find out where the country was with this.

Everybody but insurance companies and congress people who are lobbied, want pre-existing conditions covered. The uninformed voters who voted for the orange imbecile even want it once they realized what would happen if the ACA went AWAY.

Yeah it's supposed to prevent businesses from being sued for religious discrimination; when in reality it's just going to give businesses any reason to turn away customers based on the business' religious beliefs without consequence. Well, LEGAL consequence anyway.

Also for them to conduct/donate to political issues as well right? Maybe start taxing the scam then? Either way when non-Christian churches start to participate as well I'm sure we'll see some complaints from the right.

I can imagine the s*** storm that'd start for a business to turn away a devout Christian. That would unleash the holy fires of Hell.

I'm should start up a medical clinic that won't serve religious people, isn't their illness or pain all part of gods plan? who are they to interfere?

It's sad how many of them didn't even know "Obamacare" and the ACA were the same thing.

Because to them, anything with Obama's name on it should be destroyed. Even if it means replacing it with the exact same thing or something worse. They don't care.

Unsurprisingly it passed the house. Hopefully it's resoundingly voted against in the senate.

This is the scum that is in office.

In a welcome display of candor, one House Republican suggested yesterday that if you have a pre-existing condition, and your state tries to punish you, you may have to move to some other state. TPM noted:
“People can go to the state that they want to live in,” Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC) told reporters Tuesday morning when asked if people with pre-existing conditions could be charged much more under the American Health Care Act.

“States have all kinds of different policies and there are disparities among states for many things: driving restrictions, alcohol, whatever,” he continued. “We’re putting choices back in the hands of the states. That’s what Jeffersonian democracy provides for.”
It’s quite a pitch. You have a heart condition? I hope you’re prepared to leave your job, sell your home, and move to some state that may offer the kind of protections that “Obamacare” already provides to the entire country.

“Can you explain why my son and millions of others in his situation are not deserving of affordable, decent health care that has essential benefits so that he can stay healthy and continue working?” she asked.

Her son’s best route to getting decent insurance without Medicaid is to find work in an industry where employers provide it, according to Davidson.

“OK, I don’t know anything about your son, but as you described him, his skills are focused in an industry that doesn’t have the kind of options that you want him to have for health care. So, I don’t believe that these taxpayers here are entitled to give that to him. I believe he’s got the opportunity to go earn those health benefits,” he responded, eliciting boos from the crowd.
