A shoving match among lawmakers in the Texas House floor in Austin erupted Monday after a group of protesters crashed the final day of the legislative session, leading one lawmaker to threaten that he would shoot a colleague in the head in self-defense should he feel threatened after leaving the building.​

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump is expected to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, two senior US officials familiar with his plans told CNN Wednesday.

The decision would be a significant foreign policy break with nearly every other nation on earth and a major reversal of the Obama administration's efforts on climate change.

Trump met Tuesday with a key voice advocating for withdrawal, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt. He meets Wednesday with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who supported remaining in the deal.

The precise mechanism for withdrawal hasn't yet been determined, but Trump has made clear he plans to fulfill his campaign promises to withdraw.

A formal announcement is expected at some point this week. The officials cautioned the plans could change until Trump makes his decision public.​

I mean I respect people who have different opinions than me, but what I don't get is what middle class America thinks they will get out of this?

While it is evil for the rich to plunder the planet to make a buck, at least they are working in their own self interests. Not sure how Joe Sixpack thinks this will work out for him?

I would love to see a poll of how many people believe that Hillary's server was actually hacked? I bet it is a large number. I really believe that a lot of people actually confuse the DNC hack with Hillary's private e-mail server (which was wrong, but of course never compromised, and probably was just as secure as any official one).

She committed the unforgivable sin of having potentially classified information on an email server that could be hacked by the Russians, rather than simply handing the secrets over directly. #Снова сделать большой Америки

Its probably so very, very bad. I'm thinking the meetings started at least back to 2012 when it started to look like Trump was going to run i would imagine that Putin was already influencing him. Who knows how long Putin was trying to influence our politicians, Roorbach looks definitely compromised as does Nunes. I'm just thankful that Putin's best candidate for puppet president is also the dumbest primate possible.

We could even look back and see when Putin probably started trying to influence people in the US through conspiracy theorists, i.e. Info Wars, Coast to Coast. I found it weird when a narrative started years ago that Putin was the savior against globalists and now I kinda think it was a very deliberate move by Putin.

Don't forget, the evangelical right won Trump this election. They knew exactly what he was, but hey, gotta get that conservative justice on the court anyway because a tiny chance to overturn Roe v Wade is more important than the planet we live on, the economy, not starting WW3 because we put a malignant narcissist in power...

Some of these people bother me so much. The massive hypocrisy is just so evident. Don't get me wrong, some religious people can be open minded and *gasp* actually think for themselves. Too many of them are this "Republican first, Jesus second" types who refuse to ever question anything or even just open their eyes to the massive hypocrisy all around them.

This is the kind of mental defects we're dealing with. Humans can break the planet but not fix it.
