List seemed realistic because it wasn’t mindblowing at all. Turns out even THAT mild list was too high of expectations… LOL.
The guy just flat out made up lies, hoping a game or two would stick, which were predictable. He is a complete fraud.

Maybe next year they'll just immediately go into commercials for 5 hours, then at the end put up a quick banner that says "Award Show" and then show an Excel Spreadsheet with the names of the awards and winners for 3 seconds.
They could have a ticker with all the winners scrolling at the bottom, as trailers play

I'm not going to complain about which game won GOTY or any of the others, awards about subjective things are nothing to be upset about plus if you haven't played all of the nominees how can you really have an informed opinion anyway?

I will say it's cool that so many companies are going the extra mile to make games accessible to as many people as possible, that clip they showed of the guy who had been in the motorcycle accident and was able to play on his xbox without any real hand function was very nice. It was odd that was immediately followed by an add but it's nice that so many companies want to make sure that people who already have a hard enough time in life can find a way to have the little escape the rest of us get with gaming.
That part where the guy gets a kill with nothing but his mouth was great. I almost want to try a controller like that myself admittedly.

Alan Wake 2 was best announcement and it wasn't even close.

I think most of us here care about the surprise announcements and gameplay videos shown at the awards, and wouldn't lose an ounce of sleep if they dumped the actual awards and ads and Geoff.
Hey, FuzzBuzz369 is my favorite e-sport athlete. It's very important. /sarcasm
