What’s up with Pizza Hut’s online pricing?

I ordered a $7.99 2- topping pizza and first of all they charged me for mushrooms on a 2 topping pizza. I may be not good at math, but pepperoni + mushrooms = two toppings. Then on top of that, there was a mysterious $7 charge on top of the $7.99 price. Add in a $3.99 delivery fee + $1.39 tax and suddenly my $7.99 pizza was just shy of $20. WTF?

I'm so glad I don't exist irl anymore where things like $7 bottles of water and pizzas exist.

I was lazy the other day and was going to order a pizza hut stuffed crust pizza. $16 plus tax and fees it was over $22. I got un-lazy and went out. I need to keep some frozen pizzas handy. pizza hut is no where near worth that much. Or maybe i should try simply not existing anymore.

Make your own. Boboli, your favorite sauce, some cheese and toppings.

Do people who order Pizza Hut and other fast food pizza not have mom and pop pizza shops near you?

Yea I usually pick up pizza from a local place. But i don't think they have delivery its done through a 3rd party service.

What do you consider near? Not sure what constitutes mom and pop vs chain, but I do have a place within a couple minutes that has maybe a dozen stores spread out in IA and WI that is excellent, although more expensive than chain. Otherwise yea there are other one offs in town but it's down town, so at least a ~20min round trip to grab it. We have all the big chain places within a couple minutes but I only go to a random one once a month or so.

One offs are "mom and pop." I have five within walking distance.

I live 25+ miles away from anywhere that would deliver anything here. Hell, I even have to meet a UPS driver somewhere because they bitch on the phone about it being so far out of their way. They'll keep taking it back to the UPS place and putting it back on the truck the next morning until I contact them. The only time in the last 10 years that they've came to my house was to deliver the white coffin for a 360 and he even knew what it was because he's seen so many at the time.

Those of you with AT&T mobile, do you lose internet for a few minutes every morning like I do?

Around 8or 9am the internet on my phone just won't do s***. Then it clears up in a few minutes and is fine.

I never understood how people where so upset when a pet died. I was never close like that to a animal. My cousins boxer was only six and healthy as a horse we thought and I loved him and always loved how he sat by me all night when I went to there house. They found him dead yesterday and I'm crushed. He was family to me and I am so sad. I get it now.😟

I've known some people that thought their own lives were over when losing their pet. Most of my own pets throughout the years either disappear or they get killed by coyotes, shot, or someone will intentionally hit them if they see them in the road. I've had to put down a couple of my own dogs and I had to get drunk as hell in order to do it. It sucked really bad, but it was nowhere near the level of considering it a family member, even though one of the dogs I had for almost 10 years.

Typical Pizza (10inch or 25cm) cost like 4-7€ here in where I live. Pizza Hut which is 'premium' would you believed, started at about $6.90. Delivery normally doesn't cost extra but required minimum amount, usually 10-15€. & I thought things are cheaper in 'merica?

Anyway, I was having my usual Ginger tea today, but notice a weird lemonade taste in my tea. After finishing my Tea, I realised it was the dish washing detergent!

Apparently, I did not wash my cup very thoughly today. Now I have to drown myself with lots of water to prevent a spinning headache (which was what happened many years ago when I had to drink detergent) or stomach upset.

I've had that before when drinking water out of a freshly cleaned glass, still having a faint taste of the detergent. Back into the rinse cycle it goes.

I’m really sick and tired of people getting offended by everything. The new hate train is the upcoming film First Man with it not featuring the planting of the American flag on the moon in the the film so people are jumping to the conclusion that this movie is now un-American. Not like these people have actually seen the movie before jumping to this conclusion. What a bunch of idiots.

Anyway this releases around my birthday I’m looking forward to seeing it in theater.

I'm offended that you're offended by other people being offended by everything. :meh:

First I'm hearing of this movie is this morning. Saw an article about Buzz Aldrin's response but didn't read it.
