Titanfall 1 as a lifelong exclusive. Sequels undetermined.

So I'm trying to understand what ppl are getting happy for. So only the first release is exclusive and all the others after that can be released on any other console? Why the fanboy happiness? So when it comes to the other consoles a year or 2 later all the happiness is gone and then what? Also a lot of u are forgetting the fact that this is on PC also and uses the source engine. So everyone and their momma should be able to run this on their PC.

First game is all that matters as far as console wars. See Mass Effect sales, Bioshock sales. Exclusivity matters, limited or full.

And maybe, just maybe, MS reaches a bigger deal with EA or Respawn after Titanfall releases and sales are counted. For now, it's an exclusive franchise and that's all that matters in the present.

They could have been working this out for months but I think that respawn had an asking price really high and MS didn't want to pay. I have a feeling with all the resolution and PS4 multiplatform games looking and running better talk that MS had to pay that price.
