Whoa, the DZ seems so different now. I don't usually go in there but I decided to check it out and to my surprise people were working together instead of backstabbing each other. I wonder if its because the mobs are so tough now, extractions are really intense. Whatever the reason it was a welcome change and one I hope continues.

It hasn't changed. You got lucky. It's still the same roll of the dice it always was.

Yeah, you were right. I tried the DZ again last night and it was back to chaos with no teamwork. I think since I was playing earlier in the day most of the Rogues were not on yet.

Savage Gloves with Reckless Harness equals playing on the razors edge. You can get some serious damage increase with those pieces. But the 10% increase to damage taken on Heroic could mean death in the blink on an eye.

Ok. There is definitely something wrong with damage mitigation in PvE....at least for me.

Just went from...

340K to 414K Toughness
85K to 103K health
0 to 18% to 33% protection from elites
60% to 75% armour
Also had 50% exotic damage resistance at all times.

No noticeable difference in damage I can take.

This is f***ed up.

Just Division being Division...

I played a hard 2 phase with all 5 directives today. That toxic directive is going to be a real challenge on anything above hard.

Woo Hoo! Finally got me a Showstopper. Only took about 50 Heroic runs but now I has one.

Shame I am going to have to do it again though. The roll on it is not very good.

So it seems that Underground Heroic is easier than Underground challenge. I completed 2 Heroic 2 phase + 3 directive missions today without many issues at all. It is really only the shotgunners that can f*** it up for you.

I got 3 268 pieces, 1 Blind, 1 Final Measure, 1 Dead Eye. I also got 6 229 weapons. One of which is an interesting looking Classic M60 with a 10.2K base damage :surprise::surprise:

That's a good haul!

One of the people I was playing got a weapon(marksman Rifle) with a talent called skilled, it gave him 11% signature resources per headshot kill. I never heard of it before, but I had a look and you can get it on assault rifles too...but not sure how big the percentage is. Imagine 2 people in a group running with weapon talent, you could have survivor link active pretty much all the time if you combine it with Commanding.

WTF IS THIS BULLs***!

Shotgunner One-shot kills me mid climb.

Turret hits me once and takes a whole health segment.

NEW ACTIVITY FOR OUR SEASON PASS OWNERS

We come to you today with news on a topic that has generated a lot of discussion in the community: the “monthly events for Season Pass owners”.

When we first announced the content of the Season Pass before the release of the game we wanted to give you visibility on what to expect. At the time we were working on a fun bonus on top of the other activities, a token of thanks for your loyalty and commitment to the future of the game. We soon realized however that the expectations far outreached what we had initially envisioned and quickly decided to work on a more developed version.

With update 1.3, we implemented the first version of the Season Pass events. Twice a month, Season Pass owners will see an exclusive supply chest drop outside of the Dark Zone in the streets of New York. Its location will be indicated on the map, and the chest will be protected by a group of level 32 NPCs. By opening the chest players will receive 3 items of High-End or Gear Setquality adapted to their Gear Score. A new chest will automatically drop and replace the old one on the 1st and 15th of each month, so make sure to claim yours before the next drop!

Update 1.4 will bring more variety to these exclusive drops with random locations, as well as increased frequency.

Very nice.

I just this second built me a Sentry's call build. Hoping that the marking system can make a big difference in Heroic content.

The shotty is very good actually. I think it will be better than the showstopper.

I also just realized I have 4 pieces of Reclaimer as well :bang: I'm trying to build something half decent with it now.

Make sure you have 20-25K skill power with it. Which means rolling the mask and backpack in your build with skill power(not electronics).

If you get that up and running for tonight then we should be laughing. Reclaimer and Sentry's...f*** yeah!

Toughness : 421k
SkillPower: 24.6k
75% Armour mitigation
16% Exotic mitigation (big drop here. oh well)

Overall it looks ok on paper i think.

I swapped out to the police backpack to fill up in ammo and swap back and now my Toughness is down to 350k and I can't seem to get it back to 421k.. what the f*** is that about!! :smash:

Yeah that looks good. Use Smart Cover to up your damage mitigation and buff damage output and use support station to get those skills/consumables cool-down times as low as possible.

Shame you can't have 2x Final Measure as well. I have the same problem with my Sentry build.

Sentry's Call is a great team damage buff set. But it will keep you busy since you have to get headshots to apply the marks for the damage buff. I was running with Sentry's/Striker for a while and both served me well. But over the last week or so I've been using the 4 piece Tactician set with 2 pieces of Final Measure. This is my new favorite build. My skill power is over 30k with toughness a little over 310k and about 200k dps. The Tactician 4 piece bonus of increasing sill power through the roof means my pulse and smart cover abilities melt enemies in heroic difficulty.

I finally got a Paratrooper SVD marksman rifle. This thing handles more like a semi-auto assault rifle. It does less damage than my Socom M1A. But its a lot more stable. I need to test it out more but its a fun weapon to use.

I wanted to do a 4 piece Tactician build for the longest time, but I have only ever received 2 pieces of it  Problem with Tactician's 4th talent is the skills are still hard capped apparently, which means you can still max out all skills with more useful gear sets....such as Reclaimer or Final Measure...or even Sentry's Call.

I like the SVD too. I will be playing around with the M1A and SVD to see which one suits me best and which one lets me hit headshots more efficiently.

The funny thing is I was about the sell/dismantle all the Tactician pieces I had because I have no interest in a Tanktician build. But I decided to try it out before hand and I'm glad I did. It can be a very offensive based set if you want. I haven't re-rolled any stats yet to make increases in dps or toughness yet because I'm still testing things out. But I've done Falcon Lost challenging Incursion, most difficult HRT and Heroic missions and so far this build is very survivable while putting out loads of damage for me and my team. I don't know of any other set that can increase criticals like the Tactician set but I don't have access to the new ones since I'm on PS4. I want the Reclaimer and Alpha Bridge sets. I keep getting 191 AB which is a tease.

I think SVD trades damage for stability. At least the one I got last night does. Its only 204 but its like is came with the balanced talent of old where you can rapid fire with minimal reticle bloom. I need to stack more headshot damage tonight to give it a true test. But it seems like a good alternative to the M1A.

I guess the plus to Tacticians is being about to focus on Firearms over Electronics. I mean one critical hit from my M1A would give you an 8% skill power boost :surprise: After half a mag you would likely have 32% more skill power...and that is just from one player.

You can still get a "Tactician type" 2 piece+ bonus without any Tactition set pieces. Skill power bonus can be rolled as a gear pieces major(?) attribute. I have +5800 skill power on one of my pieces currently.

You can only roll skill power as a major attribute on Mask and Backpack.
