Last night I got my fourth piece for Reclaimer. That didn't take long which is great, the dlc only came out a week ago on PS4. Anyway, I got the last piece I needed before logging off so I wasn't able to take it out for a test run. But I did watch a Skill Up video and he seems to think that the way to go is stacking as much skill power as you can. He even went on to say don't worry about dps because you will get a lot of damage buffs from skills and consumables. I'll have to look into that since that guy seems to really know his stuff.

I have a couple of really good builds right now. My Tactician build is still my favorite but the Alpha Bridge and Predator's Mark builds I have are also really good. I have a feeling once I tune the Reclaimer gear I have that will take over as my go-to build. Special ammo is just too good.

Well if you have 2 high skill power builds with one running Smart Cover and the other running pulse. If both are running around 45K skill power you will get a 100% crit hit damage buff. A 40% crit hit chance buff. An overall 50% damage buff. And, most importantly, around 70% damage mitigation.

The couple that with some nice stats like elite damage and enemy armour damage and the +20% elite damage from Reclaimer and you be laughing.

If the other player uses Sentry's call as the base of his build then you will get anywhere from 15 to 52% extra damage as well.

Reclaimer build: 120/401/47. This is my highest skill build and its a beast. I didn't believe you Menace when you said its a even better support set than Tactician. But the perma team consumables is just really powerful. Its so strong I'm thinking Massive will nerf it because anytime Agents start to feel strong they make changes so we are back to feeling weak.

On Heroic Underground where the npc have insane amounts of HP smartcover and special ammo melt them. I'm also running with a Military L86 LMG that I really like. Catch a enemy out of cover while I'm in smartcover and he's toast. So I can easily say goodbye to heavy machinegunners who love to plant themselves while firing. I can easily stagger them out of their mobile shield and destroy them with all the buffs I have going. Reclaimer is awesome.

Nice. Your build is very similar to mine. Mine is 120/403/45.

New Reclaimer build is 154/409/52. Its amazing what you can do with mods. I ditched the LMG (for now) for a G36 C that hits harder with better talents. I love this build not only does it stack the team with special ammo but I can down enemies pretty efficiently with maxed smartcover.

There seems to be a new strategy going around in the Underground that I don't like. It seems you can run past certain mobs on certain missions. For example if the first phase is a timed kill mission. The team can run past certain mob spawns to the end boss. This sucks because I like the combat so much in this game. There are times when I'm left alone fighting while the team is already sprinting towards the final boss in another room. I guess people like to rush for the boss loot.

INFORMATION ABOUT UPDATE 1.4, SURVIVAL AND LAST STAND

25/08/2016

Agents,

The Division has been out for almost six months, and what an incredible half year it’s been! Through regular game updates, a first expansion and weekly patches, we have put a lot of energy into constantly improving the game. While these efforts have allowed us to bring more gameplay variety, the overall experience has been affected by lingering issues that have accumulated since release.

With Update 1.4 in the works, it has become clear with your feedback and our own observations that our priority should now be on improving the core gameplay experience. For this reason, we have made several adjustments to our development schedule: Update 1.4 will be released in October independently from Survival, and will focus entirely on bug fixing, game balancing and other improvements. Survival, the second expansion that was initially planned for release with Update 1.4 is now postponed to a later date this year. The third expansion, Last Stand, will be released in early 2017. This new schedule will not only enable us to strengthen the core experience before adding new content, but also continuously improve it by allowing for more production time to ensure the quality of future updates as well.

Our focus for update 1.4 and beyond will be on the following:

  • Fixing bugs, including those listed in our Known Issues as well as many other ones
  • Making loot drops more relevant to the player
  • Enemy difficulty and time to kill
  • Gear Sets and weapons balancing
  • Solo player experience
  • Dark Zone and PvP balancing
  • Quality of life additions based on community suggestions (such as weapon skins no longer taking inventory space)
This ongoing effort will begin with Update 1.4 where we will address some of the most pressing issues, such as bugs, loot and time to kill and set the foundations for future improvements such as PvP and Dark Zone. We will make sure to keep you informed of our progress in our weekly State of the Game, and share the complete overview of the changes to come in Update 1.4 in a Special Report livestream on September 13th.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you, our community, for being so openly passionate about the game. Our passion is what unites us and allows us to build a better game together! We remain committed to delivering the best experience possible, and will constantly be looking for your feedback as we shape the future of The Division.

Stay awesome, The Division Team

So, basically, we have to wait another 5 weeks or more for them to fix stuff that should have been fixed months ago.

...and this comes as a surprise because...

:p

Because I am a dumb, hopeful mofo.

I'm glad they are taking another stab at trying to fix the issues with the game and rebalance things. There is a lot of good to build off of. But the question remains whether or not Massive is up to the task. Past experience with them leads me to believe they aren't. But I hope I'm wrong.

There aren't many loot shooters. Destiny is the only one I can think of and I burned myself out of that one. Although I have been looking at its next expansion with curiosity. So maybe that's a option for me in the future. Its a shame Bungie still hasn't made matchmaking for all activities.
