What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Been watching Planet Earth 2. This is the show they need to use to sell TV's with. Just stunningly beautiful at 4K with HDR.

Watched the first couple episodes of the new season of Fear The Walking Dead. Good start and wow on that death. Shaping up to be a good season. At this point I like this show more than the last couple seasons of The Walking Dead.

Finished the series Oliver Stone's Untold History of the United States. It was pretty good if you like documentaries on history. It's on Netflix.

Now on to my next Netflix documentary.

I've been watching a bunch of documentaries lately too.

Gossip Girl season 1, just showed me how hard it is to be a beautiful billionaire in New York. True bravery.

Starting season 2 now. Wish me luck.

finished the new Orange is the new black season. i know it got bad reviews compared to previous seasons but i enjoyed the change up. was up there with the other seasons imo.

although i did hate how it ended, and it was abit slow at times
i was hoping the season would have included atleast alittle bit of the aftermath

Watched El Chapo on Netflix.

I guess this is maybe produced by the same company as Narcos?

Very similar anyway, but this one lacks Americans in lead roles and it's almost entirely in Spanish.

Really interesting story especially knowing where he ends up (I don't know anything about him, but pretty sure he's in US custody right now? How did he get there is pretty interesting)

It's not as good as Narcos right off the bat, but towards the latter half of the season it starts to become really intriguing, and by the end I can't wait to see what the next season brings.

I loved Narcos and I'm totally fine and maybe even hoping it doesn't have a 3rd season. El Chapo kind of picks up from it with another glimpse into the druglord era.

Kind of get the feeling though that El Chapo wasn't much of a drug lord compared to Pablo Escobar.

TV shows have been en flique for the past 18 months. They're making movies seem kinda tertiary. Subscription based tv shows are kicking goals!

Veep: oh Mai lawdy Lou! Tightest script so far, but the setting isnt as great as when she was struggling to be president. The stuff about wanting her own Presidential Library is rather apt lol.

American Gods: the vibe of this show is so giving it to me. It's sexy, kicky, kinky funky and fresh. I feel like Im learning at the same time as getting deposits for the spank bank.

RuPauls Drag Race: there was a distinct lack of drama all season, which seems redonkulous, considering you're cramming 14 diva drag queens into a single room for 2 months, but then boom! Reunion special! And the c***age is dialed up to 11!

Glow: I think I really missed out by not being around in the 80's. Women knew their place back then... Jk. Super fun show! It reminded me of Girlboss at first, but it doesn't have the self-important arrogance, and it's not preaching continuously. Super pretty show to watch too, from a costuming point of view.

Real Housewives of New York: oh my gawd! She said it! And then she ripped the wall sconces off in a drunken rage! Yassssss!!!! The real Housewives of anywhere are like my football!

Gossip Girl: this show has not aged well. At all. In any way.

Buffy season 4: f*** Riley.

Yeah... So I broke my leg and now all I do is play games, watch TV and troll you guys. :p

Just watched the Fargo season finale. I thought it was the best episode of the season and enjoyed it. The season overall was of good quality, it just did not hit the level of greatness that was season 2. You can tell they went for something different this season and was just a slow burn throughout. Some memorable moments.

I hope this is not their final season though I want more!

It's weird I had a feeling this season would end leaving us with unanswered questions even just a few episodes in.

This whole season I felt like the show was telling us something about the rich people, international corporations etc. that are becoming like viruses. Better to not worry about that stuff and go about your business IMO.

I'm totally cool with the last episode. It wasn't amazing but the show is so good. It's not even seasons really it's like we've had 3 Fargo mini-series all on HBO levels of production.

Yes, I want season 4 of Fargo please!

I remember reading they wanted this show to more like each is a series and not just a new season every year. I hope they do another season, but if this is yet it was a great run.

My lady has wanted to start 13 Reasons Why. Just watched the first 3 episodes. I like the structure of the show keeps you interested. Good so far.
It's really good, but hide the razor blades, and lock up your pills.

By the end, you're begging for a single scene to relieve some of the pressure...

Finished Fargo S3 and Orange is the New Black S5.

Fargo was a good season. It is hard to top the first two seasons, but it was good nonetheless.

Orange is the New Black was ok. It seems to be getting a little stale now. I don't see where the story line can go now, at least not for another full season.

On to House of Cards newest season. I should have that done before GoT new season.

Just finished the last episode of Veep. A brilliant episode, that should have been the first episode of the season. The entire season was missing/lacking something that I couldn't put my finger on.

The writing was tighter than ever (and the best joke in the shows 6 seasons was made in this episode regarding Germany lol), but without the actual politics in the show, it's missing its last character to round out the cast.

In saying that, I soooo can't wait for season 7. I'm just pissed it's a year away.

White Gold: watched it purely because Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl is in it, only to discover that the cast of The Inbetweeners is in it too. Visually, it's very British, but it feels like a mongrel of UK/USA. I don't really know what to think of it though... Had a few good laughs per episode. They really make door to door salesman seem like evil, soul-destroying thieves... So it's pretty accurate.

Any good commedies/creepy shows you guys can recommend?

I just marathoned Silicone Valley. I liked it, but it really stressed me out for some reason. I think I'd have enjoyed it more as a weekly show. It's pretty heavy, in kicking the blokes down continuously.

I think I want to check out Fargo, and find out what all the fuss is about.

We finished 13 Reasons Why last night. Damn those last couple episodes kicks your feels in the dirt and gets depressing. Good show and I have thought about it a lot at work today.
