Honestly the BC stuff is really cool. But nobody wants to play old games...
Not only did we not think that back compatibility was possible at the start of this generation, but enhanced, 4K resolution versions of your Xbox and Xbox 360 discs being playable were unthinkable... and the fact that they are doing this kind of enhanced preservation back to the OG Xbox is really something. I'm also amazed at how versatile they are making use of X's extra horsepower.

With that being said, if I were a Sony fanboy I'd be like good thing you have old games to play cause you sure as hell don't have anything new.
If I had a PS4 it would probably collect dust too because my days of SP gaming are basically over. Competitive MP or co-op with the boys is pretty much all I'm interested in finding time for these days. Might fire up Ninja Gaiden Black for fun from time to time, but whenever I try to play a SP game now I just lose all interest 3 or so hours in. The last 2 games I played but couldn't finish:To be fair, my PS4 has been sitting mostly collecting dust since Horizon Zero Dawn. I'll have to dust it off for God of War for sure though, Sony Santa Monica looks to have done a good job as you would expect.

I agree, but it looks like it could be one of those games worth having the system for by itself. If it wasn't for VR I would barely touch it.

I just played some HZD myself. It's really a great single player game, and quite amazing looking. I just have so many games going at time...plus, I mostly fire up the PS4 for VR. I will get GoW when I finally complete HZD.To be fair, my PS4 has been sitting mostly collecting dust since Horizon Zero Dawn. Would be a shame. They also announced last year, that it is coming this year.I think they're going to sit out on VR this gen.
You can feel it in the air.
Yeah, I definitely remember that. I may go in and fudge around, but I spent all night last night just putzing around enjoying the detail as usual. The game is something else in that regard- always has been- but now it so clean! Those visual options were there from even before the enhanced patch.

It makes both companies look bad.Right.
Why would anyone put anything X related in an Xbox thread.
It makes both companies look bad.
Not true about Sony though as yes they are improving but did put out AAA RATED titles on the PS2.That may be but it is a realistic observation.
The only way one progresses is by facing reality and becoming better.

All off topic though
