I was tempted to get a One X this weekend trade in value of my One S 1TB was 160 at game stop (I paid 200 for it a year ago) and they had them 50 bucks off so it would have been 313 with tax but I just did not have it at that moment *sigh*.

Nice to see another native 4K game on the X1X

I played on Xbox One X though, finding that the visuals are remarkably similar, with the same native ultra HD resolution. The difference is frame-rate, where the current, unoptimised build has a 30fps frame-rate cap with adaptive sync, introducing tearing when performance can't meet its target.

CPU is still outclassed though.

I bought a Xbox one X on a whim today. ( Price drop + store credit and credit card cash back rewards = whim). As a guy with a moderately high end PC, color me impressed. The XB1X enhanced games are on par with a good pc visually and framerate wise. If it wasn't for my love of Ultrawidescreen gaming, I'd be hard pressed to upgrade my rig anytime soon.

yeah, game pass isn't a perfect system.. lots of older titles, but it is really nice to play some enhanced games with minimal investment. I have had a great time downloading and playing some titles I simply missed when they released.

With your crappy internet, that new Faststart for gamepass might benefit you greatly.

I've got game pass . I had an launch Xbox one and an S, just felt like upgrading. I can tell a difference. I was really mulling it with having a S and a good pc but I think its worth it. Visuals seem to match my pc or get close and frame rate is steady.

How did you do your game transfer? Or did you just have it on an external drive?

Everything was on a external harddrive. With all my saves in the cloud, it was as simple as unplugging the external drive from the S and plugging it in to the X.

Good stuff.

One drawback is similar to Xbox OG. When I'd plug in a cable to feed TV to the system, I could never consistently get audio synced up. It's weird. Sometimes it would be perfectly synced, sometimes it's off by a fraction of a second. I could live with it on OG when it allowed Picture in Picture as I'd game and watch baseball or hockey, but since a dashboard update a year or two ago doesn't allow it, I decided to get rid of cable feeds into X.

I decided to ditch hooking up my cable box to X and audio is perfectly synced.

So it shows passing through audio has never worked flawlessly on Xbox systems OG or X..... or maybe I have crappy HDMI cables..... I never bothered testing better cables.
