So we have all these threads about winning this and that, but what disappointed you most about this years E3. I don't mean conferences or anything like that, but what game shown or announced disappointed you most..or what game that didn't get announced made you cry a river inside.

For me...

Shown: Gears of War 4 - Just looked boring, outdated, and I was hugely disappointed with the carbon copy entry on to current systems.

Not announced: Red Dead Redemption 2 - Were a few rumours flying around about this getting announced and it just didn't happen. Yes, I did die a little inside the river I cried was bigger than the Nile.

One of the games i was the most impressed by and disappointed by happens to be the same game: God of War reboot. Old formula has been scraped, i don't think he is going to be ripping off any appendages here, combat seems to be on auto pilot like Ryse. Hopefully the game is good enough in its own right, because i was a fan of the light puzzle/kill everything with fire formula of the previous games.

Where the hell was DMC 5?

Scalebound gameplay looks like "lukewarm garbage".

Even though i will be getting Gears 4, gotta admit both game play sections they've shown from last year and this year look really boring, buying the game on faith alone.

The Last Guardian looks like they just were just like, "f*** it" and tossed a weird graphical filter on it.

I'll be back to complain about more stuff later, lol.

R* not showing anything at e3 is no surprise but still sucks.

Last Guardian. Don't have high hopes for that anymore. I see about a 72 rating coming in.

I see around 80 but my excitement for it has gone down a bit :(

Gears and TLG looks last gen to me. Neither of them have an excuse.

No Red Dead. There is a rumor that it got pulled because of the Orlando shooting. I kind of buy it based on Sony awkwardly bringing back a game they announced earlier to close their show.

I was kind of hoping Microsoft would announce even more consoles, and Sony would show us even more games that are sequels to games made when checkbooks still had 19__ printed on them and that are coming out by the time my five year old hits puberty, maybe.

There was just no game that "wow"ed me at e3. That is probably just due to my taste in games.

So much 3rd person, story driven stuff. Lots of people like that and that's cool. For me though it just fell flat.

Overall? Jaded gamers.

My personal disappointment? Phantom Dust no longer being a remake, but being a remaster instead.

My joke response is "no Knack 2," but honestly, I've been thinking about this question, and I've come up empty. I can't think of a single thing that disappointed me. I felt like this E3 delivered in spades.

You have to come up with something. Might I suggest the real lack of information on Pokemon:Eternal CashCow, or whatever it was called? (Obviously, it couldn't be Pokemon:Eternal Cashcow because that's infringing on the {Word}:{Two Words} format that I think Sony owns that won the subtitle format wars).

By R*? Cause if you look at the shows no one had a problem showing games with lots of shooting.

Gears 4 didn't look bad, but it did look boring and certainly didn't wow me with the graphics. The dialogue was terrible.

No Red Dead.

I was a little dissappointed by Gears' lack of innovation.

MS in general (barring the Scorpio announcement an FH3). I wasn't wowed by them at all. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing.

Myself for being a bit more jaded than I'd like :(

Not enough new game announcements and no Crackdown 3.

God of War was not God of War. Beautiful game but it isn't what I want. Other then that yet another year that I only buy a couple of ps4 games in the spring. If they made more exclusives I would buy them.

Crackdown 3 being delayed, Horizon: Zero Dawn not releasing until next year and VERY little being shown of Mass Effect Andromeda.

I was impressed with what they showed at E3 2015, but what they showed this year looked extremely boring and bland. If that was the worst section of the entire game, then it will be forgiven.

Pretty good, these all disappointed me as well.

I guess Nintendo not showing the NX was my biggest letdown but since I knew this ahead of time.
Dark Souls 3 DLC not being shown,No Bloodborne 2 or Demons Souls and/or anything from From Software.
BF1 didn't look as good as I thought it would.
The PC didn't get much luv.

pfft even calling it a remaster is being way too nice. The graphics sure not getting remastered lol.

I finally thought of something that disappointed me: Everything went smoothly.
  • No awkward Kinect or Move demos.
  • No cringe-worthy CEO moments.
  • No dance game demos.
  • No stage demo malfunctions.
  • No spastic guy on the Wii mote.

Ah well. Maybe next year.
