Probably the reason why Mortal combat & Injustice female characters looks so manly, & character just doesn't feel realistic enough (not the skin, but the details). Quality of character artists.

Character is actually one of the hardest things to models ( a few members here can can probably testify that)

Look at this MK model. She is nice, but you wouldn't imagine she is real. (not just becuase of the lighting & texture, but the facial features)

Then look at Lara. The devil is in the details. I know one is cross gen, another is next gen, but just focus on the face, you can the intrigate details & form of Lara face, the eye socket is not just an almond but curved at just the right place, the buffiness of the lips. The one in MK is consideably simpler.

The artist for MK is decent, but the artist for Lara is a Master artist. Makes all the difference.

Generational difference in this shot.

Its true, I pointed out, but one can still make out teh skill level. Many 360 games have quite relistically proportional face, like Gears or batman. I picked MK, as the developers have a history of having characters that just doesn't feel 'right' in looks.

Yeah the face looks horrible in MKX and the eyes look dead as well, hair looks horrible.

Some noticable bad design is hair in Mass effect. They are so horrible, especially part 1 that I just picked the default male shepard.

PES 2016 is no longer 1080p on XB1...

It is 4K!!!!!

Nah, I'm kidding it will be 1360 x 1080. Tsk.

Fox engine performs horribly on Xbox One. Considering that Konami is leaving the big budget game business, not sure it matters anymore.

Runs near solid 60fps, is deemed horrible.

Some other game barely runs 30fps, deemed amazing.

Hey, whatever fits the argument, right? Not sure what we're even talking about but i'm 90% sure what i just said fits the narrative in some way.

I've heard PC gamers claim The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is visually more impressive than Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.

Depends what a gamer wants in a shooter. Better res or better performance. For twitchy gaming, I'll take performance.

Too bad for Sony gamers, Sony seems to be pushing PS4 games to hit 1080p at all costs. Only a small number of games (probably 10 or less) are less than 1080p.

If devs used the extra power of PS4 to bump up the graphics, frame rate, animation transitions, loading times etc..... by matching res to X1, the difference would be more pronounced and affect gaming more positively.

But what you get is the PS4 game sometimes having a res bump, but do to the nature of give and takes, the X1 game can also have advantages too countering PS4.

If res were matched, PS4 "should" pretty much have a 100% advantage in all graphics and gameplay as the extra power could be directed to graphics and gameplay as opposed to extra pixel count. But looking at many games where res is matched, devs aren't even utilizing the extra 30% tflops to make the PS4 game better. It's like they just set both platform's games to 1080p, tweak a bit and ship it as "good enough".

Oh well.

On the whole, from a performance perspective, the results from this beta phase look pretty straightforward. Both versions of Black Ops 3 perform well in the multiplayer component, providing responsive controls that are perfectly suited to the twitch-based shooting. However, Xbox One provides an increased level of stability to performance that comes with a price: image clarity isn't anywhere near as sharp as PS4, and there are gameplay ramifications because of this, just as there were in Advanced Warfare - only this time it's significantly harder to discern long-range detail.

Last Gen versions of Mortal Kombat X got cancelled... Word on the street is because the female characters looked like male Hungarian shot-putters.

What stability? I crash to the dashboard almost as much as I used to get critical errors with win 95.

2GB updates every week, no games you want to play, crashing OS every time you use it, terrible graphics, worse controller, worthless Kinect, not enough delayed to 2016 games etc etc...

I'll give you $175 for it, it sounds awful.
