I have read other articles talking about that subject, that was just the first one that came up. Could be he's part of a small minority but it does seem logical that devs/pubs wouldn't like it if things are as Sweeny says they are. Either way it's not a problem, if people want it it's cool they'll have the option to play some other games they may not have been exposed to otherwise, then again as I said before most games come to console already anyway.

These Ponies have really been sticking their noses in Xbox threads as the eminent explosion of tear inducing Scorpio news approaches. They are praying for an Achilles heel in there somewhere.

I will probably buy a scorpio but it won't be to play PC games, it'll be because it has the best looking 3rd party games, as long as you can really tell the difference I'll buy it on day one.
Some people also said for years that there was nothing to play on the other console, another stupid thing to say. I don't count a game as exclusive if it can be played on another platform, if you want to say console exclusive that'd be accurate but if a game on either MS or Sony consoles is just called exclusive and is also coming to PC that's kind of false advertising IMO because it basically says it's the only place you can play it and that's not true.

I'm all for people keeping an eye on what MS are up to in the PC world, but at least read the fine print and check those receipts before you cry wolf.
But I get where you're comming from. But at the end of the day, no matter what you do, you're never going to please everyone, especially when there's a buck to be made, and even more-so when developers think of themselves as celebs. Looking at people like Tim, Lorne Lanning, that dude that designed Daikatana, Peter Molyneux (Although I do really enjoy listening to him talk. His voice is so soothing, and I could listen him wax poetically for hours)and the pervert who came up with Dead or Alive... Shut up and make your games.
When the sun shines on them, they lap up all the attention, and say so much crap. Then when the s*** hits the fan, they all refuse to comment, or pass the blame. *points at NMS*
Seriously though. That's really all I'm trying to say. PC games on Xbox is extremely exciting. Don't downplay it under the guise of friendly disagreements. No one here is dumb enough to buy that crap. "Not a huge deal", as if consoles have been playing PC games since Pong. lol. Come on, man....Yeah, no good games on PC.

Yes, being able to do this is nice, but there aren' t that many good games that are PC only anymore, and the majority that are have done so because the console controller is not good enough to play them. Games like the Total War series and Civilization series. are great examples of what I am talking about.

So, is this feature news huge, no, I dont think it is. But it isn't nothing either and shouldn't be swept under rug.
According to Phil, Keyboard and Mouse support comes to Xbox One this year. As for PC games, I would happily enjoy playing WOW, ARMA, Nier, Star Citizen, Eve, Squadron 42, Total War and many many more on Scorpio.
I am done arguing this. Time will tell. Wait and see. I am not saying they couldn't put a version on xbone. If you like gimped up crappy downgraded pieces of crap just to make it work. Tech will advance and older tech will not be capable.
Stop that. Most of the big PC games come to consoles any way and this week Indies don't count.

But can the mouse and keyboard be used for gaming? Support coming does not gurantee that, and I doubt MS wants to create an unlevel playing field.
The Xbox One already supports keyboard, but not for gaming. Phil is talking about keyboard and mouse support for games. My guess is that each developer would choose whether they want their game to support it, instead of a standard.
Tim Sweeney couldn't be any more butthurt even after a night with Bellybama. It's the tech equivlant pyramids as granaries and slave ships as immigrant vessels.
What if Scorpio has an improved Win10 OS and can play Steam games? Would Valve allow that? Would Microsoft allow a competing Store in their Eco-system?

Well, yeah, and people wouldn't like it if firemen came around molesting their cats either, but that doesn't lend any credence to a story alleging that's what they're doing. Microsoft would be absolutely destroyed if they made it so you couldn't run applications from sources other than the Windows store. Corporate customers would s*** bricks if the software they've developed in house over the past decades is suddenly no longer available to them (even if it could be enabled with a 'developer mode' hack or some such), and they'd lose more money on that than they could gain if they absorbed all of Sony and Valve's gaming revenue.

I'm kind of gonna call bulls*** on it making All PC games available though. Could you imagine the outrage if SFV were available on Xbox, after Sony paid for those 11 people to play it?

Didnt Valve release Steamboxes a few years ago? Can they play SFV?
I don't think it will be all by default. I think each game would still need to be made console specific. I mean, let just say that WOW went UWP in addition to Steam. And then it just downloaded on your Xbox and you start playing it, but nothing is matched up with the Xbox One controller. There are no As, Bs, Xs, Ys on the screen, etc.
