I mentioned this several times before and i will continue to stand by that. I don't like engaging too much in the way a platform is going to perform as the outcomes can be very uncertain. But the one thing I've noticed during my entire time gaming in this industry is how wishy-washy a player's perception can be in just a splits moment. It is how this industry behaves on a constant.
Having said that, PR and performance are two completely different levels of generating and sustaining an audience. And while there is still much to discover - especially on PlayStation's end as far as what we currently don't know of that platform, that performance is going to matter more at the end of the day. And here, is where the real numbers and mind share will count.
