I kind of disagree, in theory anyway. Being able to look into corners naturally is a pretty big advantage, IMO. I'm sure that you can move your view with the stick, but it's never quite the same as looking into a turn or whatever. This probably changes with different cockpit designs, though. No real comparison, but I played Dirt Rally on PSVR recently, and as crude as the graphics are, I just couldn't get over how different diving is in VR. Looking out the side of the vehicle and seeing well ahead of you while drifting on a mountain road is very, very different than playing it through a single cockpit view. Different game type, I know, but at least 2D driving games will let you jump to 3rd person. Not in this game! I say that in cockpit view, VR should by nature, allow for an advantage. Again, this probably depends on the ship design though.
That said, I will probably still get this game on Xbox now, and PSVR later if I like the game enough to spend that much time in a VR headset.
