Right, and so far it seems like they wanted to focus more on the performance hence the lower resolution. Which is good since FPS is king.

I think as the gen goes on there will be some games that just benefit better from NATIVE 4K and some where dynamic resolution will save the performance but still create a fantastic looking game. Games like Miles Morales that look amazing at 1440P.

Honestly don't know why they didn't just do dynamic res for Hitman 3 on both systems and call it a day but whatever.

I expect alot of 30fps games this gen....as demands get higher.

Agreed. YMMV with the multiplats developers. They'll still look good but some games might perform better than others while others not so much. Exclusives will be where the real beauty shines with these hardware as always.

I hope so. All I'm seeing is games wasting lots of resources on FPS when it isn't needed.

Wrong.
Higher resolutions(above 1440p) the GPU determines the FPS and Resolution.

Maybe I should've appended my statement better. True CPU is responsible at lower resolutions. That I won't debate with.

However the PS5 is running it at 60fps @ a lower resolution than 4K and it IS running it at a higher resolution than 1440P. So you are proving my point.

The PS5 can't run it at a higher resolution and with stable framerates which points to the GPU being the limiting factor.

We don't know if the PS5 can or cannot.

Guessing it seems PS5 has the headroom to go to 4K but might have the same performance and loss of details(when aiming) as the XSX.

And vice versa but we don’t know.

I know gaining 20 fps is harder than going from 1800p to 4K.

We do, because it isn't. If It can why isn't it? Why would they lower the res and shadows if it doesn't need it, they wouldn't.

Goes the other way as well eh?
Losing FPS AND details on XSX.
We can assume if XSX dropped it's resolution and shadow detail it wouldn't have the above issues.

It does, but you're the only on championing the difference between a non 1:1 comparison as some great victory. Then claiming the PS5 can do something it clearly can't. All for what?

The PS5 can only do 1800p with medium shadows. Deal with it. It isn't even a big deal to begin with.

Huh I say it's a tie or better yet a preference of a difference.
One wants better performance they get the PS5 and if one wants a higher resolution they get the XSX.

Saying PS5 can only do 1800p is like saying XSX can't do 4K cause of performance issues and loss of details when zoomed in.

But it is still 4K all the time. So no, it isn't like that at all. You could try argue it can't do 4K 60 FPS, but that is a stretch when it does that 98% of the time. PS5 is 1800P 100% of the time.

Stop with the nonsensical BS spin.

98% of the time?
No 1 stage of the 6.

Luckily, it's not the entire stage, it's in a certain field:

it is possible to see Xbox consoles run between 50 to 60fps around a field towards the outskirts of the level

But the PS5 does hit 40fps:

bar a very slight stutter in a cutscene at the beginning of the Miami stage from Hitman 2, where all consoles dip from to near 40fps.

PS5 runs at native 4K at 0% of the time. XSX runs at native 4K at 100% of the time.

Fine, then argue away with a point that has merit. Not the nonsensical, obviously made up, desperate, gibberish you have been pushing.
wtf
My assessment has been fair.
Saying one is better than the other when both have issues is disingenuous.
I can't argue preference and ***drum roll*** out of the 2 versions I rather have the XSX version even though I have the PS5 version via game sharing with my son.
But I can't say it's better because I rather have the higher resolution in this case.

It's only one part of the map.

Even the sniper issue happens in that area which makes it sound like a bug that will most likely be fixed soon which means the series X version will be 4K and 60fps from start to finish.

This time Xbox released in double the countries they did before. So they spread thin and pulled stock from NA.
