So closer to RDNA 1.5 as the Sony engineer had confirmed last year.

PlayStation 5 die shots confirm no AMD Infinity Cache support; other RDNA 2 features may been cut too

It looks like Sony has removed some Fixed Function Units (FFU) and Fused Multiply-Add (FMA/FMADD), for example. We should stress that the below image is only an interpretation of the PlayStation 5's die. However, the space between cache segments effectively confirms that the console does not support Infinity Cache.

Stop being mean., I identified Ps5 has RDNA 2, hence PS5 has RDNA 2. I identified Ps5 as the most powerful console of all time, therefore it is.
Believe facts!

We all guessed it at some point in time but to see a developer come out and make a statement about it is new.

There's been much talk within the game development community about the potential downside of having to support a lower min spec with the Xbox Series S, particularly for its limited RAM. Do you foresee having any issues because of this?

The RAM is not an issue for us (currently), but GPU performance presents challenges for future titles. Our current renderer is designed for high spatial and temporal resolution (read: 4K @ 60 fps). It is stochastic by nature. Dropping any of those would require us to do more expensive calculations dropping performance even further. We have a compromise solution right now, but I am not satisfied with it yet.

Damn....4A games on that PC flex:

As for the NV 3000-series, they are not comparable, they are in different leagues in regards to RT performance.

Can't wait to see what they have on the horizon after the Metro enhancement.

IWhy has it dropped from an average of 1800p to 1300p when they added the fog?

Ubisoft can't even get games to run well on top end PC hardware.....I have no faith in them. At least DICE knows how to make good looking games that run well on EVERY platform.

So funny how quick you guys shift your perspective. XSX has a few blips due to dev error and it is all "So much for da most powefulz console," but as soon as as PS5 has issues you all cling to "BC mode, man," "Ubisux."

Pathetic.

Plus. We all know XSS is the best.

I didn't want to say it. Glad you did.

It's Ubisoft. Ask them. Ask Insomniac why they have no problem doing industry leading Raytracing + 60FPS at 1440p in an open world Spiderman game.
I had to disable RT in Miles Morales because it was crashing out with an error.

Trying to make a argument out of comparing BC is desperate and pathetic.
Lazy is what I call it.

Hmmm...I thought this was called a "next gen" update, not a BC patch (for Division 2).
