I actually agree with this

Last Doom is a step backwards.
Dishonored is almost non exist this gen.
Recent Wolfenstein is considered decent/mediocre.

They haven't done anything(Critically)outstanding since the 1st last gen Doom.

I loved Doom 2016. Couldn't get halfway through the new one. The messed up the balance.

Wolfenstein is pretty weak now too.

Still, the studio has potential and they know how to use the hardware.

Not sure what it amounts to. The PS5 still has better/just as good next-gen feature use in some of their games. It has more games using RT and in some cases uses it better (COD). Spiderman does it better. At least for now.

I know it's still early, but just looking at chips isn't going to tell the whole story. I honestly think the Series X will show an edge in tech, but Sony is at least pushing the use of the features from the get go.

Elder Scrolls/Skyrim,Doom and Fallout(to name a few) being exclusive to MS/XB ecosystem would be huge.

MS isn't stupid. Bethesda AAA games will sell consoles. The next Elder Scrolls and Fallout and Doom etc exclusively on the Xbox and PC. Also judging by the recent Steam survey the vast majority of PC users will be playing on inferior hardware so jumping on the Series X bandwagon will be huge.

Isn’t that pretty much the case, when the sea goes through the contract is void, but they said they’d honor it...most likely because they already spent much time and effort making it and would be a waste/loss of everything they’ve done so far and would be kinda demoralizing.

but I wonder how’d it work for game that aren’t even running on dev kits, like their space rpg, or ganes development that has been done on last gen consoles? Xbox could be like “that’s the only version you’ll get and like it better on ps5 bc, because loading times”

PC is part of the XB ecosystem so we aren't saying Xbox has no exclusives when games go there right?
So when I say XB I am referring to it's ecosystem.

Exclusivity is just what it says. Games going to PC doesn't hurt Microsoft/Xbox. Games going to PS5 does. If you want to play a Microsoft exclusive on a CONSOLE you get an Xbox, and NOT a Playstation. This isn't rocket science.

Obviously if they have a past of releasing games on the Playstation they will do it again.
