It came almost 2 weeks earlier than their earliest ETA they gave me, very happy about getting mine.
Got the splitter because it strips the HDCP so I can upload some PS4 goodness to YT and other places.
The worst part is I'm busy with work so I will have to wait until later to power up and play.

Shortage for SSHD 1TB's here, on back order right now. I anticipated the PS4 to come around the 21st as I was told, nice surprise but left me without the SSHD for now...

god damn it sony get PSN's s*** together. So old TD wanted to buy some games from PSN but removed the old CC after last weeks news of issues with peoples CC. So being as I don't want to input all that info using the controller I go to Sony online store site but oh no when I log in and it goes to the next page you get an error site can't log you in after it f***ing logged you in but it then kicks you out.
So poor old TD had to input all his CC info and address info into the god damn s***ty ass virtual keyboard on the PS3 to but his s***.
f*** Sony fix all your god damn on-line issues PSN is pay for MP now no damn excesses for this s***ty BS.

The f*** a splitter? Replace your your AV receiver you cheap ass. Mine has 7 HDMI in puts on that mother. In the case yours has a lot and is full nvm.
Well f*** me just ignore what I said then.
Finally got my the last few things for my PS4 today in the mail, including my PS4, LOL! In total I got 2 extra controllers, 4 games, the better headset and the PS4. I've already downloaded a few apps for it and played BF4. Have to say, the graphics on BF4 are blowing me away. They look amazing. The gameplay is fun too. Downloaded a free game as well. Resogun. Will try that out tomorrow after work. The only problem I have had with the PS4 so far is there have been a few errors downloading the update. Really weird too since it downloaded it, but wouldn't install so I tried again and then it worked. It did this with my apps too. Really strange. Also BF4 crashed to the start screen. Only happened once, but another weird bug. I'm sure Sony will get those little things ironed out though. So far, VERY happy with my purchase.
Right now all I have to say is I'm very impressed and very happy.
I fortunately have a quiet PS4, had the 1.52 update prompt as soon as the Ethernet was plugged in, very fast UI, streamlined and I like that, although not as nice looking as the X1's UI I'm still very happy as the PS4's is a no nonsense type of UI in my eyes.
I do like the variation between having the two systems and their interfaces being very different.
KZ looks fantastic but have not really begun to play it seriously yet.
I'm reading some people venting @ PSN but from my short experience with it so far, it's fast, downloading around 5-6MBps and doing about that much on my X1.
My internet can provide faster speeds than that though, Origin speeds (PC) here.
I don't think it is that big of a deal. Could have just been my internet connection. Resogun for example downloaded with no problems. I also downloaded an app a little while ago with no problems. Could have been a glitch or something in my software update that was worked out via a reboot? Who knows. So far happy with the system though.
I was more worried about the GPU issue some have been having. So far though that has not happened with my system. BF4 ran like a dream. No hiccups, framerate was solid and the picture looks great. Will try ACIV tomorrow.
I remember it was a pain to sync my CC with PSN on the PS3. And i actually gave up on it but then after a while i tried to buy something (Used codes) and my card was charged the difference. Ever since then I've left it there.
But really the best alternative for something like that is Amazon. You can buy PSN (and XBL) online codes on the spot. Good option if you're still facing issues.
well it works fine. I had my CC saved on my PSN account but removed it after they asked everyone to change their passwords last week. I wanted to just go ahead and buy some PSN+ discounted stuff using the site as it's quicker cause you can type but nope site would boot me when it loaded after I logged in.
I just had to put all my damn info using the controller on the PS3 to buy my items.
Sad thing is the Xbox 360 versions sold extremely well, as did the more weird loli skins in Ace Combat. PS3 versions just sold better.
