I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here.

Is a joke.

MS said that the price increase was to reflect the content, scale, and technical complexity of these ($70) titles (Motorsport, Redfall , Starfield etc.) which is BS anyways. Flight Sim, Halo Infinite, FH 5 are not worth $70?

It’s all PR fluff. If they said, “$70 now because f*ck you.”? It’s still $70 either way.

I see the 3 console warriors are out and trying to figure out how to take their guns off safety while their commander is shelling the crap out of them. lol.

I'll take it. That means you and the 2 other morons are my little bitches. lol.

I even got you to spend $500 on an XSX just to fail miserably at pretending not to be a dumb ass fanboy. lol.
We aren't connected sorry.

Oh and stole this from another place...

"I think what you’ve seen across the industry, with a couple of notable exceptions is -- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is at $60 for standard, Cyberpunk, Dirt 5 -- so I’m not seeing it. There are some exceptions of titles where you’ve seen, particularly for sports games, where they’re coming out in advance of the next generation and because they don’t have Smart Delivery, they’re including the gen 9 version and charging you more. So It’s a little bit complex there.

It’s a different approach and they obviously have a right to do whatever they want with their products and pricing, but for us we’ve really taken a fan-centric approach [with pricing]." -- Aaron Green Burger."

Start of this Generation? You mean before the double digit inflation? I hate price increases as much as the next guy, but it's an unfortunate reality, and it's still a great deal. they still have to be profitable. I've saved ridiculous amounts of money because of gamepass.
They keep talking about value and etc and taking digs at the competition and end up doing the same thing. Be real here this was ALWAYS going to happen, game pass will go up in price too once they start releasing more games. They really had no way to justify a higher price for games when they've only released two new first party games in the last 2 years.

They aren't the first one to go to $70 obviously and it's totally justified to do so but the fact that so many xbox fans were online talking about everyone else's $70 games and now all of the sudden when some games may actually be coming out next year the price is going up most of them are all for it. I wonder if they'd have done this sooner had Starfield and Redfall actually made it out this year?

Sure I read some F2P games didn't need a gold sub? Know it took them ages to end that Netflix and so on locked behind gold BS cause Dom felt it added to the value of Gold.
Most of their execs did, gold was the only thing making them any money and they were not about to risk that.

Love how just earlier this year , Xbox fans were so vocal against $70 games and how those corps were bad now be like "it's expected" when their favourite company does the same exact thing lol 😆

Everywhere.

The sentiment was Sony is evil/bad/anticonsumerism when they do it but when MS does it, it's okay because inflation , increased development costs and the content warrants it.

These companies don't care about all that, it's about their profit margin. They will do what's best for their companies.

I agree with you. But I thought you were taking about this forum where everyone said it was inevitable that MS would increase the prices to match the direction of third parties.

Thankfully none of us are sitting here praising it, or implying the price should be higher.

I bet they’ll raise the price of GP/GPU will go up once they buyout goes through, or afterwards. We’ll probably get another notice that I’ll go up, maybe not 2023 but 2024.

Expected as they need to raise as much revenue as possible to offset the first party development costs.

And I’m going on record AGAIN to state that they will raise the price of Game Pass in the next yearish and I won’t be surprised.

Not just dev cost, but for the money they just spent on purchasing them and all the other stuff they’ve had to do to get it through.

My guess it won’t be a big leap, but the one that may make the most sense would be the family pack, when it eventually releases in other major markets. When it does I’ll add ya to it if ya like?

It won't take them long to recoup the cost of the purchase. They recouped their purchase of Mojang in one year, with one game.
