3000 series from nVidia June?

OMG, DLSS 3.0 is supposed to work with EVERY GAME that has TAA. WOW, I could get an RTX 3060 and use DLSS on a ton of my games. That's an incredible value. An RTX 3060 is also supposed to have as much ray tracing performance as a RTX 2080 Ti.

Think I'm going to rock with my 2080 Ti for the forseeable future. Outside of a larger SSD I think I'm good in the upgrade department.

If those performance leaks are correct you will be desperate to get a 3080ti. I think they said a 3060 will be on par with a 2080ti.

A 2080ti by mid gen will be running next gen games 1440p to keep up.

3080ti will be next gen games on steroids.

Yeah, it's clear that developers will sacrifice framerate and native resolution to reach a certain graphical fidelity on consoles and do lazy ports to the PC. They are already talking about using temporal upsampling and running games at a locked 30fps on consoles. RTX owners need to just take one on the chin and get a new card as soon as the 3000 series becomes available.

I probably won't be, we'll see though. I don't even use RTX features.

My pocket is ready. I hope it came out in Sept

Anyone else getting 3000 series card/system?

I don't think AMD has an answer for Nvidia's high end GPUs so I'm expecting a very high price for the RTX 3080TI. Now at the mid to lower end I think AMD might be competative and that's where we might see more competitive pricing.

My 970gtx serves me well for 5 years. I am hoping for a new hardware for cyberpunk. Maybe I get a 3070.

I want though.
Will hold off....

4000 Series? Or waiting for Big Navi?

1399 isn't because I can't afford it, its the simple fact that is a outrageous price for a card and I am not willing to tell Nvidia that, that is OK to me by making a purchase.

Same. I can get it but I won't. As long as people keep buying up these ridiculous priced cards the easier it is going to be for Nvidia to justify this garbage. Not only that but this is what happens when there is no competition in the top-end segment. AMD needs to blow the 2000 series out of the water in performance otherwise it is going to be overpriced cards again for little performance gain from team green.

Well if the next gen consoles weren't coming and I wasn't planning on spending a couple grand for them(me + my son)
Id get the 3090 with the quickness.

I usually build with GPU's that are made AFTER consoles release.
But for me I want a PCI E 4.0 Mobo/so essentially a new build on top of the GPU price.
So i might start part of it next year(either new PC or GPU) as I am buying a home and don't know if $3000+ will be feasible.

Gotcha. Yeah it is going to be an expensive year. Not getting the Series X, but most likely the PS5 on launch. To consider the 3090 at that price it needs to be 60-70% more powerful than my 2080ti.
Congrats on your future home buying!

Thanks man! From renting to mortgage free owning.
So i gotta be a little more mindful of some of my spending.
When I build I go all out..

So odd it seems like everyone is buying properties all of a sudden. Anyway, we are about to close on our first investment property.
