I've been listening to "Follow You Into the Dark" and "Wide Awake" from the soundtrack pretty regularly since release. Great songs, they fit fantastically into the game as well.

Additionally in Alan Wake music, that Old Gods of Asgard album released yesterday.
 
I've only played a few hours of the game (too slow). Just go into town. Been side tracked with Dead Space Remake and real-life stuff.

Are you playing it on PC? I just got a 4080 a few weeks ago. The graphics blew me away with everything maxed out 4K (DLSS Performance) with FG. I thought FG was going to be a gimmick, but man, it's incredible when done right.

Yeah I got it on PC and on the 4080 too. The graphics are breathtaking !
 
Alan Wake 2 is at 850k or so according to Ampere. But no mention of flop by the usual suspects even though it's on multiple platforms. Wonder why 🧐

Been mentioned several times in the sales topic but you must have missed it.... Game flopped considering all the praise it got and time it took to come.
But also depends on its budget.

I'm not crazy about the combat in this game. With how the save system works, I set the difficulty to Story. I think that's where the game shines. Rather get through the combat quick and continue with the story progression.

I lost interest in the game... So haven't beaten it yet but good to hear doing well for Remedy despite the sales not doing too well

 
I'm slowly chipping away at this. I find I like Saga's journey much more than Alan's. His plot stuff is starting to annoy me than anything.

I'm getting close to just dropping the game altogether.

Yep, I'm done. I just don't find the game fun.

I appreciate the art and style of everything, but the game play is just not appealing to me.

Yup same. Deleted off my Xbox. Remedy is done as far as I am concerned. Control and AW2 were the nails in the coffin.
