All of Insomniac's upcoming titles have leaked (Marvel Factory)

Ok, I’ll be that guy and ask…. Would they be as profitable if they were their own original IPs rather licensing out Marvel’s top character(s)?
Depends. Isn't as simple as yes or no. At the end of the day it is down to how good the game is versus resources spent.

I think a better question is: Will Insomniac's desire to have Hellblade 2 - esque photo realism visuals sell more compared to doing an Arkane- esque highly stylised Blade visuals. ?

I haven’t watched that video, but I have watched the snippet of Greg being all sad about how they need to change how they cover leaks.

1. If they want to take this seriously they should not be allowed from the review sites to be able to submit scores for Insomniac games. Not because they won’t cover this, but if they want to be actual journalists you shouldn’t be reviewing games from a company that put you in their game. That should have been denied because you cover games, should be unbiased, and submit review scores that have effects across the industry. Sales, bonuses, etc.

2. All these journalists who now want to take a different approach have not apologized for covering the other leaks that came out. They have been deflecting and using excuses about how this time it’s different.

There is clear bias and they are hiding very negative news about the market leader in the gaming industry. Layoffs, ridiculous budgets, possible studio closures, and a road map that goes against what a large portion of their fan base expects.

It’s honestly BS, but not shocking when you really think about it.

I don’t know if there’s many journalists left in gaming journalism alone. I see more of the as reporters, reviewers, bloggers, podcasters or coverage. Many of them even state they’re not journalists, those who are seem to feel left out, not from the gaming side but as a journalist who happens to cover gaming and seen only as that first and to some “not a journalist”
