Supposedly other EA games are being affected too. At least people are still reporting trouble getting into BF V.

Played it for 45 mins when I got online. It sure didn't grab me the way I'd hoped it would. The controls and movement felt foreign but I've never liked 3rd person shooters to begin with.
Hopefully with some controller setting tweaks I can aleave some of that.
Graphics on my XB1X were only nice and not great. Seemed like I got level loading screens every corner I turned too.

I haven't played it yet but looking that the videos of game play. It doesn't look like anything special but i am sure it will be good. I am only buying it to support bioware. Hopefully the story\Main campaign will be good enough to give some mass effect\dragon age like interacts with npcs but this game will not reach or surpass those games. Destiny gunplay and the hope that it would become a mass effect lite is what keep me and well as for some others playing the game.
I still can’t get in. But watching on Mixer it looks like graphics were downgraded.
I feel like the lack of first person shooting really hurts this game. Because I can't look at enemies through a magnified scope I felt like I was just shooting at blurry figures under health bars. The graphics are underwhelming and blur significantly more often than not because of your movement.
Only thing I like so far is the javelin forge and the sound effects are pretty good.

Played the first mission twice, once with randoms and 2nd time with a friend. Game is decent, the combat is fun, but honestly nothing really special over the other MMO type shooters. I will probably wait till it hits EA Access down the road not paying full price for this.
I finally got in this morning. I went in with an open mind, if anything I was leaning towards buying.
Well, the demo has un-sold me on the game so far.
For me, the elephant in the room is the awful framerate. I'm on X1X and it is rough. I can live with Destiny with a reasonably solid 30fps. This is far from that. It just killed the game for me. Maybe I'll try it on PC. I think if the framerate was better it could be fun. At least on console there's a million things going on and the fps goes in the toilet. Just a killer for me.
Anyone know how to get into the PC demo? I don't even have the Origin stuff installed. I might actually like it with better framerate but that's just a show stopper for me.
Edit: looks like I can get the demo on PC if I install the Origin virus...

I only played for about an hour but I didn’t see any issues at all with the frame rate. But overall, while it was fun to play, it didn’t blow me away at all.
Maybe it was lag then? It sure felt terrible, but I don't want to pass on the game if it is something that is just a short term issue.
I'm about an hour away from the PC version so I'll give that a try.
Damn, game seems underwhelming for a lot of people. Guess that's what happens when you draw strict inspiration from Destiny. Might Bioware be in trouble?
I think it was lag because I never noticed any frame rate problems when I played it.
The motion blur when panning the camera however is abhorrent. And I have mine on a very low speed too.
I got the same thing, believe it or not it actually fixes it by quitting out of the game in the guide, quickly go back into it before the game shuts down properly then it will give you an option of going back on your expedition, which then worked for me. Way too hard to get in a damn game.
I do like the game when I'm playing though I will be picking it up way down the track, its so rough on my 1X it hurts. Hopefully they can keep patching so its a great game but we'll see.
Framerate at the tarsis hub is horrible, played in xb1x. In combat world it's fine, didn't notice any huge drops. Game seems fine, hard to tell by the small demo though.
Me and Nervous had two people in our party last night that didn't have friend passes and were playing without having pre-ordered. I don't think you need it on Xbox for some reason.
If anyone has a PC code I would take it. I'm back on X1X and still getting stuttering. I think the game would be fun but it just isn't remotely smooth. Very janky and inconsistent. I even went into freeplay and just fought a few trash mobs and it was clunky.
I went back to Destiny 2 just to see and it feels way better. The framerate isn't great but steady.
A lot of youtubers were blaming the controls, but I don't think that's it. The framerate is janky so the movement is janky.
