Lol they f***ed up the loot again.
They did? Why happened now? I’ve been getting good drops when I play.

My understanding is that last night, they did a server side patch that upped drops. Then the client patch this morning put it back to where it was lol. Subreddit back to complaining about the drops lol. They did? Why happened now? I’ve been getting good drops when I play.
I am officially done with the game until they fix it. I soloed a world event and the servers booted me at the finish. Since you don't get XP and rewards until the end screen, I got nothing for my time. Still seeing all sorts of other bugs too.
I seem to disconnect any time I spend time in freeplay. Unfortunately, to progress I have to play it. What sucks worse is you only earn XP from killing enemies when you end your freeplay session, so if you crash out, any XP you earned is just gone. 20 minutes wasted. The gear is just gone too.
Not to mention I got downed and had a teammate revive me. The rest of the mission, I still had the death screen in the middle of my screen and could barely play. I was up and moving but it still wanted me to respawn.
Just super frustrating. I'm also noticing that missions aren't filling up with matchmaking. Maybe people are further along than me, but you'd think on a Sunday there would be people playing.
The game is just tough to love.
People on my friends list who were loving the increased drop rates now complaining they have nothing to do.
I tried telling 'em but they wouldn't listen.
So people are planning a boycott of Anthem because they think the loot grind is too tough .

Can't wait to see them all complain when there is nothing else to strive for.
FixedWelcome to the echo chamber of life. Something gets repeated and upvoted enough, it becomes "fact". The problem with Reddit is that whatever opinion gets 51% of the people suddenly becomes the only opinion, simply because of the way it works.
What I find is that you get the entitlement aspect where people feel they should have everything right away. Obviously they don't understand the loot grind aspect that is central to these games. Ultimately though it is tough because how many hours should it take to get a good build? 50? 100? 250? 1000? Seeing as this has no PVP though, it shouldn't really be an issue.
I'm not at the endgame yet. I'm more concerned about the more frequent bugs personally. Fix my crashes that keep me from progressing to even get to the endgame.
People love to root against EA. Not sure why people keep lumping BFV in with games that failed. The microtransactions are a non-issue (I'm not even sure where they are in the game). People need to stop hating on EA and let them fix Anthem, because there is a good game in there.
BFV had all kinds of issues at launch and even before due to the way they handled some controversies. The game underperformed and I bought it for $30 in December, those low sale prices have helped pad the numbers a bit. EA and Bioware have had issues with their last two games, ME:A and now to a lesser degree Anthem. Hell the last non sports game that hasn't had some kind of problem was TF2 and they released that at the dumbest time possible. I want EA to clean up their act but they just don't seem to learn.
BFV had some issues, but they were pretty minor and exaggerated by the EA haters (not to mention the whole trailer with a female soldier drama).
Sometimes, EA deserves what they get, but there's a large group who give it to EA no matter what. BF V is a perfect example. You're talking about bugs when you didn't get the game until later.
Anthem has unique problems that have nothing to do with EA's other games.
BFV had issues after the fact, they kept messing things up with updates etc. EA as a whole needs to stop releasing games before they are ready, that's all on them. This is a problem with a lot of publishers sadly these days but SWBF2 had it's issues, ME: Andromeda was a mess of a game and never should have been released in the state it was in at launch, BFV wasn't ready at the time it came out and neither was Anthem. That's two DICE games and two Bioware games in a row that launched before they were ready and EA should have learned that lesson by now. That's also something Activision should have learned with Destiny but that's generally the only series they did that with and they are no longer running the show on that title so don't take this as an EA bashing post but this is a thread about an EA game and they have been s***ting the bed a lot lately.

I got both BFV and SWBF2 a few weeks after launches. I did not experience these “problems” you’re speaking of. Both games were fine. Want to go into more detail on what you’re talking about?
SWBF2 had more pre-release issues as far as the micro transaction etc and BFV had several bugs etc at launch that shouldn't have been there. If you weren't paying attention at the time that's fine but that stuff was being pretty widely discussed.
