I never thought I'd get to see this trending, but apparently Larian Studios (makers of Divinity Original Sin) is working on Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 are probably my favorite RPGs/Games of all time. Recently, Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 are pretty damn fantastic themselves. So these 2 things marrying is the best thing to happen.

Have never played any Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale, but they still give me a nostalgia on name alone. Do these games play like Pillars of Eternity? I played a bit of that and enjoyed it, but seemed really terrible at it.

I'll admit, I really wasn't checking for this game after D:OS 2 fell flat for me but this looks pretty good. Worth keeping an eye on.

Developer confirmed the Xbox version is done, but they are having technical difficulties with co-op split screen, so they don't want to announce the Xbox version until they can get that worked out.

So it's something to do with optimizing split screen processes with the Xbox consoles. I am going to go ahead and say related to the split memory / diff speeds.
