I’m not bothered about lack of campaign as long as the resources are put into mp. Look forward to the gameplay reveal Sunday so I’ll reserve judgment until then.

Agreed, the campaign in BF5 was a pretty big step down from BF1. Plus, sounds like we'll be getting a new season every 3 months with free content.

The medic specialist they've released info on has a syringe gun that can heal remotely and damage enemies. I can relive my MAG medic days on PS3!!

Do you need to buy Ultimate then I assume to get all the seasonal content?

The most promising annoucement was no single player and no BR, hopefully that means they put full focus into MP. BF has always been a MP game first and foremost.

Here's what they have listed in the FAQ:

What are the live service plans for Battlefield 2042?

We’re taking a new approach to live service for a Battlefield game where players will be given the services and evolution they have come to expect from modern multiplayer games, all aimed at keeping the community playing together for years to come.

We’ll be evolving our world and expanding on the fiction through Seasons, each one lasting for about three months. Every Season will come with a new free and paid-for Battle Pass, delivering new content to chase after.

In our first year of live service, we will deliver four Seasons, with four Battle Passes, four new Specialists, along with more fresh content.

We’ll have more to share on the first Season of Battlefield 2042 before launch.

Based on that, I don't think I need the Ultimate. Looks like GOLD will do?

I wonder what the "cross-gen bundle" is that's mentioned on the more expensive versions.

Must not support Smart Delivery? So you get the Xbox One version and you get a Series X version? I assume this is the case because they are two different games due to 128 vs 64 and larger maps vs smaller maps?

EA confirmed game play to be at Xbox show.

I don't think it was him but I have seen so many tweets about it on here that it had me convinced it was going to be

Pre-ordered the Gold Edition. I would have even if it was on Game Pass. GP just doesn't interest me.

The game has the option to play with or against AI soldiers.

That should help build out underpopulated servers for 128 player matches, or just let you try to learn how to fly some of the vehicles without screwing your team over.

Wonder if that will actually be doable in gameplay. Probably since they showed it.

This looks like a PC game for me. Mouse/KB = better movements and aiming in hectic gameplay.
I would imagine so. Just looks odd in a trailer that makes the game look more realistic I guess.

Trailer looked cool now I’m ready to see gameplay.

Glad they ditched campaign focus on MP. I’m sure a Battle Royale will come at a later time.

Waiting to preorder in case it does get announced for GamePass.

Why? Where is said it wont be?
I was just jumping to conclusions based on the promotion of its normal EA Play benefits. Feels weird for a Microsoft mouthpiece to promote 10% preorder for a game to be announced for game pass 4 days later.

But you are right its premature and can't be fully ruled out.
