Glad there's going to be an open beta. Just let us play the thing. I'm still really concerned about crossplay. They really need to have next gen cross console play with no PC or this is going to be rough.
Destiny 2 PVP keeps next gen separate and even for a popular game, that population is really small on next gen Xbox. Games are laggy as heck and take forever to find a match. It should improve a little after the holidays hopefully get some more consoles out there, but for a big team game it is going to be tough. I'm really done with the whole getting wrecked by PC/mouse players in crossplay.

Portal is cool I guess, doubt I'll touch it. I assume you won't be able to rank up playing that mode.

They haven't explicitly said cross next gen console play without PC. If that's what they end up doing, great. That would fix it.
Typically there's a check box for crossplay on or off.
We fear that cross play of you can only play with Series X. Hopefully you can turn off PC cross play and play Series X/PS5 together.

I don't think I've seen any game that does console only crossplay. When they say "you don't have to play PC" they usually mean you can turn it off completely and stay in your own console.
If they do allow PS5 and XSX (XSS?) that would be fine. I need to see that specifically working though.
The whole concept of crossplay is new and a lot of these things haven't been worked out. COD is seen as a "success" but that has very strict skill based matchmaking which tries to balance things out (and does a bad job). SBMM won't even be practical for 128 players.

I honestly was expecting a full gameplay blowout yesterday. Even if means it was a bunch of “influencers.”

Nice to see a Bad Company 2 map but man just give those of us who love the series a remake with modern graphics at 60fps and we'll shut up and leave them alone forever lol. They can take levolution set pieces and tornadoes that happen in the same map every time and shove them.

Despite playing hours and hours and hours of BF4 last gen, I never played the campaign. Since the new game appears to be a story sequel to 4, I thought I may as well play through it. Just downloaded the game on my PS4 and blasted through the first level on easy. The overly contrasty thing has not aged well, sure could use some HDR.
It's pre alpha and I'm sure it'll be much better but my god it's stale as f*ck. I've had way more fun playing Ubi's free to play shooter XDefiant.
