I did have a strange game. For what ever reason the game put me in a super easy TDM lobby where I went 35-5, and 4 of those 5 deaths were from score streaks. Never had a lobby that easy before.
I get that a lot on XSX. It is like the entire lobby will be clunky and low fps. Sometimes it is minor, sometimes it is severe. It feels like the console just isn't performing right, but it goes away in the next lobby so it seems like lag.
I wonder if the matchmaking is just broken on Xbox? The skill based matchmaking has me in some sad potato tier and has me dominating games, and on top of that the lag seems bad. I almost feel bad thumping on people and I know it isn't me. I never was anything special in any of the older COD games before skill based matchmaking.
Like I said, I went from a win/loss of .6 in MW (yikes) to 2.0 in CW. 2.0 as a solo player? That's hilarious. You could have offered me a million dollars to get my k/d ratio positive in MW and I couldn't have done it. I could have quit my job and dedicated hours of my day to improving and the skill system would have kept screwing me over. I guess this is my reward

Right now I’m sitting at a 1.40 KD it’s steadily going up I average 20 kills a game. My W/L is at 2.07. My SPM is 422. I definitely don’t see great players/teams as much as I did in MW. Every match you had to bring your A game to do well.
Finally picked it up and dove into the MP. Glad I did. Really digging it. I may be in minority but coming from MW the ttk here is sooo much better. Maybe I just suck but MW was just too fast.

It isn't just you. MW was so fast that there weren't any gun battles. The person who saw the other first won, unless they missed. It was over in a split second. In this game, you can get shot and still pull off a headshot and win. There's actual gun battles. You can also peek and disengage, or even run around and slide through sniper lanes and not get insta-killed. Campers had such an advantage because you could never push them.
I mean, everyone got used to it, but it was less fun being that fast.
Not to mention in MW the spawns were broken and you'd constantly get insta-killed from people behind you.

Just played my first match on Rebirth Island and got the win lol. That end game with the shifting circle got hectic.
Be sure to give Prop Hunt a try. It is such stupid fun and a good break from the normal game. Basically one team turns into objects and tries to hide around the map, and the other team tries to find them.
I remember when they added Prop Hunt I think it was in COD 4 MW Remaster. That mode is so stupid lol.
Have they removed SBMM or has the free access weekend made lobbies far easier? I have gone from a 1.2 - 1.5 KD player to a 3.0 to 4.0 KD player. And it isn't because I got better.
Yeah I swear there's almost no SBMM in my lobbies. I'm barely seeing any players who are better than me, and many are just flat out bad. I'm getting streak after streak. Heck, even with scavenger on I'm running out of ammo because I live so long. Something is comically wrong with the SBMM system.
I'm having no problem leveing up guns and using off-meta stuff.
The game engine shouldn't allow it. Doing something like that should make your accuracy be almost zero.
It's bush league bulls*** and done mostly by losers who map it to do it all in one button. f***'em.
Most of them use something like this to do it. They macro out drop shotting into one macro that auto compensates for recoil and is basically auto aim.

Seems like all I was running into last night was the Mac 10 in Cold War MP and Warzone. They need to nerf that s*** ASAP.
It is a legitimate part of the game and you report people for using it. That is just sad. You say f*** em, but what is it you think you're accomplishing? Nothing will happen to them for using a legitimate in game mechanic.
Running into the Mac a fair bit myself today. Not sure why it needs nerfing? Doesn't seem OP from my limited experience going against it.

While I hate drop shotters I wouldn’t report them that’s not cool. Now quick scopers getting one hit kills can go straight to hell.
