Did anyone preorder this and get a beta code? OR are they coming later?

If they're coming now, I plan on preordering and cancelling immediately to get a code. This looks somewhat interesting, but it also looks like the "everything but the kitchen sink" approach; it looks like they took every popular idea from an FPS ever and tossed it into one game. Could be incredibly meh or decent, hard to tell.

the campaign sounds terrible on this! it just sounds like its gonna be MP with bots(single map, clear out the enemies).. Campaign has been the only thing i enjoyed in the last 2 CODs and this just looks like a lame ass unstructured borefest with no set pieces

the fact your character is fully customisable (inc male or female) means there is no real story there aswell

Super jumping is not back,It's called thrust jumping.And 90% percent of the fights are on the ground. So no Super jumping is not back

My biggest issue with advanced warfare was the speed at which you could get around the battlefield, and it seems--in typical fashion for COD--they have took that complaint and made it worse. Yes, infinite sprint is coming to COD

Also, why do they rename stuff and try to present it as new? Boost jump, really...no it is an exo jump. Boost slide, really...no, it is just an exo slide.

Oh, and lol at the specialist feature. It is basically a Titanall rip-off, but instead of having a cool, bad-ass Titan, you get a special weapon or ability. Those work on a cool-down system that is accelerated by killing.

I have no clue why they went this route. I mean activision have 3 teams working on COD games, so why make 2 studios make two futuristic games? Should have left Sledhammer(?) with future. Then had Treyarch on modern current type of games, and Infinity Ward on WW2, Vietnam, more historical type of games.

Doesn't infinity ward handle the modern games? And treyarch handled world war 2, I have no idea why they made 2 devs work on futuristic cod's over there years. Still I have my beta secured I will still be playing the beta but I won't be buying the actual game

Honestly, I am not sure who does what any more. I was just thinking about of the different eras the franchise has done.

I'm not a fan of AW, and Blops3 is freaking GREAT. My prob with AW is that the exosuit makes the movement clunky. Thankfully in Blops3, everything is so smooth and responsive.

After watching the MP video I think it looks better than AW at least. Still think it is a little too futuristic for my tastes. Will wait and see if I get this one. I really want another Modern COD or one set between WW2 to early 90's.

After seeing the MP video, I'd honestly rather play AW (actually I'd rather have something non-futuristic). It just looks like it is going to be another insanely fast paced, zero strategy run and gun game. Just like in AW, I fear you will be constantly doing 360s to check all around you as everyone will be jumping all over the map again. Too many other good games for me to get this in the fall.

BLOPS 1 was my favourite campaign and then it went down the crapper in BLOPS 2. I'm not interested in BLOPS 3 and its futuristic settings but I may still rent it to play the campaign. For me the most interesting time period is the cold war and there is so much room for story telling that its a pity this hasn't been explored further. I'm skipping BLOPS 3 this year as I will be busy with Halo 5. I may also skip next years COD if BF5 comes out.

I didn't enjoy the Blops story at all.

The only campaigns I have finished are Modern warfare 1 & 2 and advanced warfare.

My favorite mission too. Something about Sympathy for the Devil, the hueys flying over and the general chaos of the mission just made it so enjoyable.

This is why I was hoping for a COD to be set in the past.

I don't know.... This might be the first COD I skip this year with Halo and Battlefront coming out.
