Pretty good mix of Halo and Titanfall. I've always enjoyed the SP campaigns in the COD franchise. I've just been burnt out on the PvP MP for a long while now. Will definitely be renting for the campaign

What we announced before today was that we were going to offer 10 maps on launch, and that’s still true. The announcement today is that the six remaining maps we are actually going to be delivering to anyone who purchases Modern Warfare Remastered, anyone who owns it or a version of Infinite Warfare that comes with it, they’re going to get all 16 of the maps for no additional cost
The developer also explained why they had to split the maps up.
The reason that we had to break them up like that is because when we originally got onto this project one of the first things that we did was try to define what the visual quality bar was going to be that was acceptable for us as fans. What would we expect of the visual upgrades? When we did that we were able to break up how much time we had left for this year and how many maps we had to do and it quickly became apparent that we weren’t going to be able to hit that bar for every single map unless we shipped later or we reduced the number..

My total guess would be they will be more of optional objectives than anything.
Meaning they'll be during main story missions? I sure as hell hope not. If they mask optional objectives during story missions as "side missions" without their own levels and context, I'll be pissed.
No surprise there. Obviously you need the disc to play Modern Warfare Remastered. They'll probably sell it separately two months down the line for $40 or something.
This may be the first CoD I may skip. My cousin played the beta, CoD is all he plays, and he said it sucks. Reminds him of advanced warfare mixed with all the stupid jumping of the future games. He said the weapons also suck and the game doesn't look all that good.

Too bad the beta is getting shredded on the dev forums. Its f***ing toxic in there. "OMG THIS GAME TEH SUXXORZ ITS TRASH". But i expect no less from the COD community. They all want change but they bitch when they get it. f*** them. I'm sticking to my pre order.
It absolutely has not been completely dedicated on consoles. It's not dedicated. I got migrating hosts and massive lag-comp in last year's and the year before's.
I loved Modern Warfare and the first Black Ops but it seems like all theyve done in the last decade is reskin the graphics further into the future with each release and tack on a few.... and this is just my opinion... r******d game modes. I watched a video of this yesterday and it just looks like such crap to me now.

Easy to assume I knew they used dedicated in certain instances. Those instances being far and few between. Not 100% dedicated no buy.
Infinity Ward has always been great at telling a story and making top notch cinematics in their games, a shame they cant translate the impressive graphics, locations or sounds into multiplayer.
I'm basically buying this game for the campaign, I'll probably spend most of my time playing MP in other games.
I've been unable to find an answer to this. I have however learned that MWR will use dedicated servers.
You say this as if there isn't a ton of people who have been around since Call Of Duty 2 that still enjoy this series.
Infinity Ward games have the most hilarious glitches. Remember the javelin glitch in MW2? Whole teams running around with those.
