Yeah there's tons of cheating. It seems that Activision updates their anticheat a couple times a year and cheating goes way down, but it just ramps right back up again.
There's not a lot of aimbots and obvious trolls, but there's tons of wallhacks. There are so many people who clearly aim before they could possibly see/hear you.
The other problem is their "solution" to cheating is to let people report people and act on that. So, if you are legit good and get spam reported, or if you are really cheating, you get banned for a week. There's supposed to be an investigation, but that never happens, and everyone's ban just ends in a week. The legit players lose the game they bought for a week, while the cheaters just run a couple of accounts.
It isn't just PC either, there's tons of devices that let people use mouse and keyboard but also get aim assist. The aim assist in this game is crazy strong already, but they get the precision of a mouse and all the assist. People like me using a mouse have no real chance.
Combine that with the insane matchmaking... I am refusing to buy this nonsense this year. I don't care how fun the MW2 maps will be.

and WZ being F2P doesn’t help. They should make it part of the COD release going forward would help when people are also out $70 when they get banned for cheating.
Cheaters already... and it is only PS4/5 right now. PC isn't even live.
Tried out some of the beta with some bros. It’s actually pretty fun on these maps. Feels better than MW2 at least. Doubt I get it at launch will probably wait till the Winter. Got a lot to play right now.
Idk... they really should do something new with this IP (should've been done last gen), it's like fifa, same thing every year and the fans will say it's great for a few weeks then go on rants about how much worse random things are compared to random earlier release.

Played one game and uninstalled. Spawns are the worst I've seen in a COD game (and that's saying a lot). People just spawn right behind me over and over.
I play 1 game and am thrown in with total sweats who are super high level. Obviously the SBMM algorithm copies over. It took an eternity to find a match for me, which is the same old nonsense. I don't play with "normal" people, but insane skill level players.

Game looks great, runs great (PC), and plays great. But cheaters will ruin this game eventually. They need a way for players to block any player to avoid playing with them in the future.

Seems like people's opinions are all over the place. It was hard to gauge as I was just in total sweatlord lobbies.
I'll definitely wait for a sale if I get it at all.
Canceled my preorder. This will be the first COD I don’t get at launch. Will wait for a winter sale.
I know, I was messin'. But damn dude, you know COD games retail full price for like ever.
Yeah, back in the day you could find it around the holidays for $20-30, but now you're lucky to find $10 off.
Even old games like Vanguard or Cold War are that cheap. I don't think MW2 has ever been much below $40.
No way I am paying full price for this. Heck, the old games hopefully hit gamepass soon. On Xbox, I can see the old games really having a good population.
I'd consider this game if they got rid of the manipulative matchmaking.
