I"m happy there's a game so many of us on the forum will be playing and can discuss together. Will feel like the old TXB days.
AMD 5600x CPU
MSI 3080 OC GPU
16 GB ram @ 3600mhz
1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD
1440p gsync monitor @ 165hz
2 full balls ready to unload tomorrow night
I have an Intel i9 9900KF oced
EVGA 2070 Super Ultra XC overclocked on par with the 2080 (non Super)
32gb ram @ 3600mhz
1 TB NVME Gen 3 SSD (Samsung Evo plus)
1440p Gsync monitor @ 165hz (Viewsonic Elite)
I couldn't get my hands on a 3080 thanks to Nvidia's terrible launch. Thank god this game supports DLSS. Owning a Gsync monitor will also help; it's been a godsend.

I was always going to play this on my PC. Preordered months ago on GoG. Cannot wait!!
2013... nuts. The Harlem Shake was a thing when this first dropped.
Preordered on Steam. Preloading now. I also gift the game to my cousin who just upgraded his PC.

LMAO at PC Gamer. They reviewed the game on a PC that couldn't do ray tracing and hit 60fps. PC. GAMER. /facepalm
Polygon didn't even mention any aspect of the graphics. Not at all. The absolute state of video games journalism.
They gave Dragon Age 2 a 94. That's when I stopped taking them seriously.
Polygon's review while informative felt a bit like a hit piece. Like pre-determined to be subjectively negative instead of objectively neutral.

Sheesh, lots of reports about bugs. I'm starting to wonder if it might be a good idea to wait a while before starting the game.
I'm trying to keep my hopes and expectations in check. I really don't want a repeat of what happened to me with Red Dead 2. That as such a highly anticipated game for me. And then it released and in spite of the glowing reviews remains the one game to put me to sleep while playing, I was literally found slumped on the couch with controller in hand. I hope to avoid such a scenario with Cyberpunk.

Witcher 3 reported to have the same issues when first launched. I don't remember having anything that took away from the gameplay. Of course, it got much more stable and optimized after it was patched numerous times.
It makes you think, if you are better off waiting for those patches.
