I am not even sure what you are talking about. But whatever.

I have enough problem to deal of my own than worry about grandeurs of world events. Maybe when I won Lottery & have 100 millions in my bank account, I have to luxury to poke into outside my immediate needs.

Sure, fella. Playing the old "Didn't see it" card. Kind of odd that such a hardcore wheel owning racer wouldn't accept a little lap time challenge from a casual controller using peasant. I mean you're hardcore, should be easy for you.

The rest is just gibberish.

You mean racing game? I never said I am a hardcore racing gamer. I am not even a racing game fan. I give you the win if that make you happy.
You taken the "not hardcore racer" too serious.

So your not a racer but go around saying dumb statements about something you know nothing about. Gotcha!!

Hey U2, thanks for the advice of disabling Motion Blur & Film Grain. On PS5 I was getting some visual noise that was bothering me but after I disabled those options image quality is nice and clean now.

I had a scare last night. While loading my game I ran into some kind of bug where Isaac's character model wouldn't load. I was stuck in first person and all my items in my inventory were gone. I closed and reloaded the game and everything loaded as it should, I hope this doesn't become a problem.

I'm on Chapter 9 now and difficulty is increasing. I like how even this late in the game there are still new enemy types. And I now find myself running out of ammo more often which is pushing me to use Kinesis. Those dismembered body parts and exploding canisters really come in handy.

I've had a weird loading issue when I first start the game up where all I can see is the save station, I can hear my character moving around behind the save station when I use the controller. If I reload the most recent save, the problem is instantly fixed.

I'm on chapter 7 and I'm constantly running low on ammo too. I want to keep all my credits for nodes and upgrades, but I've had to start spending it on ammo and health packs from time to time.

NXGamer compares image quality and performance before and after the VRS patch.

Also calls out "other channels" for blowing a minor issue on the PS5 version out of proportion, while looking the other way regarding artifacts in other versions.

Why wouldn’t he wait until the Xbox version is also patched?

Either way, you have to wonder why can't they fix the issue before launch. Gaming is the few industries that can keep getting away with faulty products at launch.

There is a need for independence (zero donation, donations is easy use as brides) organization that certified if a game is good enough for launch, or at a minimum, note the problems they have like low fps, stutter, freezes (& consumer can decide if okay) before a game can get the green light.
& game, "as service" or not, should be full refundable with NO Question ask, within a reasonable time, & full refundable after this period if the game is classified as broken (like Cyberpunk).

Like pretty much every other products.

Waste almost an hour going in circle due to a bug......sigh, Only knew that after giving up finally & google.
Thankfully, I have a save before the bug hits. That's why we need a game with multiple saves (if any devs is listening) or the game is hard cannot progress
Its on chapter 5, if you enter the wrong door (as in the door not intended), you will be locked out & cannot progress.

But it one hour of time I cannot get back.

Because you keep buying them no matter what they do. End of.

Look at COD. All anybody has done the last 3 years is complain about SBMM and other issues. MW2 releases and become the best selling COD. So next CoD game will get worse. Gamers manifest all the crap in gaming by being weak anti-self idiots. Incomplete releases, unfinished bug fixing, stupid price increases, crap live services, all the gamers fault.

Finished this last weekend. It took me a little over 14hrs. including side missions. I think that's a decent length for this type of game. Its a nice touch to unlock New Game+ as soon as you finish your first playthrough. I'll be going through this again at some point since the story and more importantly the gameplay is so much fun. I might sound crazy but there's something so satisfying about videogame dismemberment. :hehe:

*hides “the last guardian” under blanket* that sounds about right, for a remake. Wonder how long it took to make originally?
About the same. Maybe less. If I recall they pitched the idea around 2006.. Game released in 2008.

  • Pre-patch, PS5 version suffered the most from edge-aliasing related to VRS
  • Post-patch, all versions have FSR stripped out.
  • Game utilizes FSR 2.1.2 on console
  • Pixel counts and FSR resolve at bottom. Aside from resolution, little to nothing divides Series S from PS5|SX
  • RT mode uses RTAO on PS5|SX for better shading
  • Series S only has a 30 FPS mode, pre-patch it ran with unlocked and could go between 40 and 60. But now it's a nearly-locked 30
  • On SX|PS5, the 30 FPS Quality modes are just about 100% locked.
  • In Performance mode both can suffer one-off drops, PS5's drops tend to be more prolonged but both snap back to 60 quick afterward.
  • The VRS removal patch does not seem to have made any notable impact on performance.
  • Xbox issues were less pronounced

    Native Resolution > FSR Output:

    Pixel countFSR 2 output resolution
    Series S900p1440p
    PS5 (performance)936p1440p
    Series X (performance)972p1440p
    PS5 (quality)1296p2160p
    Series X (quality)1296p2160p

Wtf , lower than 1080p native output for all premium consoles lol. Is the game that demanding ? 🤔

Yep, I did a long gaming session on Saturday and was able to finish the game and feel the same. The graphical and sound improvements do so much for the immersion, I loved it! The gameplay, from the combat to the overall movement, just felt good to play as well. Very smooth.

Doesn't look great when Sony premium console struggles with both res and fps (and no hardware vrs) this early in the gen.
Oh well, at least they usually have better graphics than series S.

Ever notice the low native resolution with the FSR output to 1440p?
