I used to go to this school outside of Seattle that was originally a monastery. Apparently the chapel has the 2nd or 3rd best acoustics of any place in the country, and musicians would often record movie and game soundtracks in there.
So I’d sometimes sneak in there and lay down in a pew so I could listen. Pretty awesome sound live!
Looks real good. I still think it's a tad over-hyped visually, but it looks great none the less. It certainly helps putting it next to the PS3 version. A little disappointed to have the rock debris stay on the ground in the Original but not the Next gen.
I'm glad people that have been begging for a remaster got one, though it's not my genre. Might give it a go later on.
Yeah that rock thing isn't a big deal but I noticed it too, this was supposedly from the performance mode so maybe in the fidelity mode they'll stay? I doubt it but for running at 60fps that looks really good..

It's possible. The dev really talked up the graphics mode in one of those interview / question vids from last week, so there could be some noticable differences.

I’m familiar with Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Is this basically the same style? Is there a key difference that was lost when they went from Demon Souls to Dark Souls? Never played the OG, and I know Dark Souls is the “spiritual successor.” Just unsure of the main difference or if this may as well be called Dark Souls 0.
The world isn't as interconnected but thats about it. Dark Souls 0 is right on the money.

I'd love to see the next Dragon's Dogma look similar to this, I don't expect the same level of quality because that would be more open world ish but the overall look and atmosphere in this game is very good and we've only seen the 60fps performance mode, I'm curious how much better the fidelity mode looks.
If you put your big boy pants on you will like it if you like that old skool type difficulty.
Honestly that picture looks bad compared to what I'm seeing while playing.Not my shot but saw it and couldn't resist sharing. Looks sooo good, jeez.
Tower Of Latrina Boss looks a scene of a horror story or nightmare.
Damn if that picture looks bad... I don't even know what to expect when playing it.

The dark and bright scenes ala HDR are phenomenal.
I have a 55" Sony X950G. I think the picture is really nice. I have it using the X950H firmware.
I don't care what anyone says this game needs more checkpoints, having to replay levels from the beginning isn't something that makes a game good and that's why no modern games do this anymore lol. I like the game overall but it's very frustrating, won't be playing it for a while because after I finally passed an area I had been struggling with the PS5 had it's 2nd software error since I got it, if it had happened during any other game my progress up to a certain point would have been saved but not this game, not going to bother putting more time into it until they work out the kinks.
