They basically treating the bonuses like kickstarter stretch goals. If x number of people the games releases 4 days earlier.

However they have no choice but to say all the goals were hit or else the game looks like a commercial failure :laugh:.

Probably because its a high profile game people care about. Personally I think its all very silly. Though I can't stand retailer specific bonuses so i hope its for everybody.

I think DXHR's director's cut did that on PC too. GTA5 PC did something similar as well. Maybe it's because console business is much more conservative than PC gaming.
 
It was originally scheduled for Feb 23rd, but it got pushed back:

"If everything had gone according to plan, we would be playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided already. The latest installment in Eidos Montreal’s prequel series was supposed to come out this February but was pushed back to Aug. 23 to give the developers more time to polish the final product."

Yeah, I grabbed it last month from GwG. I played for a few hours and was pleasantly surprised how well it holds up, and how much I had forgotten from my last playthrough.

Great game, can't wait for the sequel.

Good grief Sony, another one?... oh wait.
 
The 2 things that stick out negative for me about Humun revolution is the yellow tint as well as weakly visuals (characters look like from PS2). Seems that they fixed these 2 beef. Now it will not only play well, but look the part as well.
 
Can't wait for it. Going to need to update my PC a bit though, at least the GPU. First game played decently but I imagine this will need slightly beefier.
 
I am super stoked for this game! Loved the last one, and this looks to make numerous improvements. Just wish it didn't get pushed all the way to the end of August! Looks like the delay was worth it though.

Perfect timing, I will be back on 23 from my Japan trip (oh yeah, I have a friend that relocate there for work, & I visited him & go for a short tour), on 24 I will go dentist, & accordingly will get a couple of day off due to expected pain in teeth. Good timing.
 
wtf I just noticed there is a collector's edition. Only place I can find the PC version is Square's website but it's on a wait list.

Review embargo lifts 8/19, which is 4 days before the actual release date. Presumably a good sign.
