On Thursday, January 18 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm UK, fans will get an inside look at a selection of highly anticipated games coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass. Shortly after, ZeniMax Online Studios will host The Elder Scrolls Online 2024 Global Reveal at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm UK to preview 2024’s biggest update.

Presented by the game creators themselves, Developer_Direct offers an in-depth look at upcoming titles, how they’re being created, and who’s creating them. We’ll visit MachineGames in Sweden to check in on their Indiana Jones game, swing by Obsidian’s Irvine offices to see more from Avowed, head to Oxide Games’ Maryland home to learn about Ara: History Untold, and take a trip to Cambridge, England to see Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II from Ninja Theory. Please note that while this show won’t have updates on games from Activision Blizzard, you can look forward to news from those teams later this year.

I’m guessing, may even happen afte a ABK Xbox Roundtable so they can setup and showcase what’s coming to Xbox in 2024. Fanfest 2024, in June, will be a setup for future games in the following year, dlc and maybe the redesign?

Would people enjoy something along the lines of the last one where the focused on one wing, everything Bethesda, and split it into three days for each (ie day one Xbox game studios, day two Bethesda, day three activision, blizzard and king).

Or just have something simple and streamlined covering each wing?

Everything in one. They are all under MS now.

Ori games on PS? Or likely Hi-Fi Rush on Switch.

Or BS by a guy known to make s*** up.

Hifi rush, pentiment , sea of thieves ?
Doubt hi fi rush, Pentiment seems like the most likely candidate for both.

But two “critically acclaimed games”, that were game of the year contenders, come to mind tho, ori and psychonauts 2. PlayStation never got the latter, may not because they cut ties with moon (maybe get bluepoint), whilst the latter never came to switch. It’s kinda a win win for all three and should be relatively easy ports.

The big get, that would be best I’d sea of thieves on switch (switch 2?). With there being almost no GAAS games on switch and with it having the largest base it just makes more sense….but again I press x to doubt

Nice. Ori was also Xbox published and came to Switch 😁
Indeed:

"We understand their desire to bring that game to Switch, and in this particular case we were happy to support them. And we think that makes sense for the original Ori." - Microsoft

"Microsoft were the first to see the potential in us and they believed and supported us all the way through, allowing us to make the game we wanted to make. Without Microsoft there would be no Ori and we are going to be forever grateful for having gotten that chance to be able to create something we were truly passionate about and to make Moon into what it is today."

I hope this is better than the recent movie (I never saw it, but a coworker said it was REALLY bad, worse than Crystal Skull).

Let's all enjoy these last few days of anticipation for new gameplay details before the masses take a giant dump all over it.

I don't know much about Ara, but I have been looking forward to the other 3 games.

I’m posting this for the second attached tweet, but I can’t post that tweet on its own for some reason.
