Yup. I dont usually play betas and demos of games I’m 100% buying. But I just couldn’t resist this. Thankfully it is just confirming what I knew: it’s gonna be good.
Endgame I guess we’ll wait and see but they nailed the presentation, the feel, the visuals and D2 feel, etc
Besides the 8-10 random disconnects, this game is f*cking rad.
Yeah servers are way better today which is great. The game itself is absolutely fantastic. Contender for Game of the Year here I think if this is good representation of the full game.
Apparently, what we're playing is essentially what the end game will be. This is more like Lost Ark than Diablo.
- World events that are basically small activities, its the same 4-5 over and over.
- Dungeons which have similar layouts and 4-5 activities (get X item open boss, kill X enemies, etc.)
- World Boss
- Helltide which is basically kill enemies to get a currency and unlock chests
Barbarian is a trash character. Sorcerer is OP.
With the barb, the den mother killed me like 8 times. With sorcerer I took her down in 30 seconds lol. Moral of the story, don't use Barb.
Oh, and if you're using sorcerer, try lightning and hydra. It's stupid broken.

I did Rogue. Tried a few skills until I landed on what suited me. Had some trouble, but nothing too difficult. Played on Veteran.
I had sorc to level 21, beat world boss. Drop me leg affx that give me extra hydra, & another thet give me xtra damage with burning while channeling
I spec the hydra for burning damage, cast 2 hydras & use inceration. Also set incertaion to enchant slot that spawn extra hydra that incerate. Melt bosses & mobs.
I was satisified & starting a rogue now.
Its fun, but painfully with melee, so I switch to range for now.
And the church cutscene. I didn't expect this dark, was shocked.....but loving it. Lilith did not disappoint. I heard they hired the writer for witcher 3 & you can see the payoff. No more silly butterfly villain.
Also, the scale of the map is mindblowing, as well as scale & number of the dungeons, & diversity of look & gameplay. And this is one of 5 acts.
As a competionist, there is so much sht to do, world event, quests, dungeons exploration, world boss...
And thw world boss is no joke, many people underestimated it, & failed. We manager to beat it with 30 sec left. Felt really good.

Game is D3, on afterburner. After playing, you will find it hard to play D3 again.
I'm going to be jonsing for this game between now and May.

The statues of Lilith are so hard to find. Only Manage to find 3. i blasted my rogue until the server wenz. down. To get my value worth.
