Finished "trespasser". If you get any of the dlcs, THIS is the one to get. Trespasser serves as an epilogue to the main quest line. A few of the decisions and choices you made along the way are mentioned directly and indirectly in this new content.
Pros:
New party banter
New out of combat scenes with party members
New locals to visit
New weapon/armor
The questline directly answers some of the big questions that the ending left ambiguous and also answers some of the series-long unanswered questions.
Cons:
The content is short. I got through it in 3 hours.
Based on length, content is SEVERELY over priced. Something Bioware has been having issues with as of late.
Purely my opinion, but this content feels like it was cut and repackaged to sell as dlc. Having finished it, the original end point doesn't feel as complete as this new one does.
Neutral:
Trespasser's ending is unambiguous. From it we know exactly where the next game will take place and who will be the main antagonist. I can't wait to see what Bioware's writers cook up for DA 4.
Rambling as it is very early in the morning here but this is the dlc to get if you're going to continue with the next Dragon Age game. Trespasser drops too many big revelations for the hardcore fan to pass up. But wait for it to go on sale as it isn't very long.
Would you mind summarizing the main story revelations, using spoiler tags? I'm not going to be able to play the expansion, but I'd like to know what the main reveals were.
How much are they charging for it, btw?
