Nothing to get up set about or leave like Johnmister or what ever the name was?

While a small few do troll most the people on here are multiplatform gamers and are just giving opinions.
 
This forum has a lot of people who still won't admit the facts about the hardware power difference between the consoles, and get upset when someone responds to correct misinformation or confusion about it. Just stating facts makes you a #1 target by people who hypocritically do all kinds of name calling while celebrating other games or people's misfortunes.

Secret sauce and "balance offloading upclock upscale blah blah.." is apparently still alive and well even right up to launch.

That's true. It was mentioned that Xbox posts heavily outweigh the PS section, but it's not mentioned that the multiplat side is a little more neck and neck, being only one or two thousand posts behind. Which was my whole point about this place being more middle of the road. Most folk here will probably end up with multiple consoles and play games on PC as well.
 
Maybe we can cut everyone some slack -- the mods, our fellow members, Plainview, whoever. It is console release season. It's crazy time -- monkey-poo-flinging time.

Don't take it seriously. Don't take it personally. Don't take offense at it. Keep your sense of humor. Take it easy, don't let what others say get under your skin. Just relax and laugh about it. In the end, none of this stuff is worth getting worked up about.

Actually, I think we are handling this crazy season pretty well so far. I'm kind of surprised. It's been a disorganized rabble, in a way, but generally, people are being pretty civilized.

After consoles are released, I'm sure things will settle. It will not stop but at least it will slow down.

I just also added Schulz and consolewarz on ignore list for better forum experience.

Dude, the first one is harmless. You really seen an issue with that one? The two others I pointed out to you you threw around the word fanboy prior to those posts when you reported them. The best way is to just put those people on ignore. It will make your forum experience much better.

I said he was acting like the "melting down" neogaf posters himself, which is pretty obvious. That doesn't make me a fanboy, that just means I'm capable of making basic observations of behavior.

But like I said, this forum should be proud for condoning that kind of discourse.

I, and mods, saw no issue. Just put him on ignore. Simple. All issues will be gone.

Or are you just coasting on the fact that nobody here is rude enough to post that about Xbox, while there are several pro-MS posters here who have no such compunction?

Having watched Giantbomb's quick look of Knack, I'm fairly certain I won't be buying it, at euro-launch.

It looks pretty fun in a simple challenging way - without on-couch partner atleast - but the music, my god (dunno, if I could actually call it music, strings-samples might be a better description) ruins everything..
 
Sooo now that the console has launched (which is why I totally haven't been on the last few days to avoid all that!) how does everyone feel?

Anyway. I would ignore him but that would require me caring about his posts.
 
Not sure if off topic, but I think this embargo to withhold review scores should not be allow.

This is not to the benefit of consumers, & what purpose does it serve other than prevent you from cancel pre order or not buying a game when you see low score for the game you intended to buy.

Feelin' good lol. BTW I liked that post of yours on neogaf about how some people equate Xbone to the N word, made me laugh when I read that.
