What if that’s the multiplayer side?I’m gonna laugh if it’s a Legends reboot. Exactly what no one wants.
Thats just not what these showcases/trailers are about. They dont give deep dives they give glimpses. Hence why Starfield needed its own show. Obviously I want what you want - but my expectations were in check.I wish we saw more uninterrupted gameplay and less quick cuts to cinematics or slo mo added scenes. This is why I miss the old E3 style of conference, I want a dev out there talking about how the game starts and what's going on. This doesn't tell us if we can still make our character male or female, it doesn't tell us if this is still Albion. I mean they clearly went for a Jack and the Beanstalk thing there so is that what we are doing now?
I want to see more for sure, I just don't think they showed enough to really tell me what they are doing and after 3 years I don't think that's asking too much.
Even though I really liked the tone, ( I was just really hoping that it wasn’t going to be a Fable Legends reboot) I agree that we still don’t know much about the game.I wish we saw more uninterrupted gameplay and less quick cuts to cinematics or slo mo added scenes. Oh I get that and it's why I've hated Xbox E3 shows for pretty much the last 5-6 years and Sony's most recent abortion of a showcase too lol. Youtube ruined E3, everything is a youtube trailer now for quick viewing.Thats just not what these showcases/trailers are about. They dont give deep dives they give glimpses. Yeah they had a couple of really quick glimpses of gameplay but a lot of the trailer seemed to focus on that guy talking to the camera even though it said gameplay under his face lol. Obviously they are still looking to include humor which is a good thing but fable wasn't just humor it was a specific kind of humor and charm that made it all so good.Even though I really liked the tone, ( I was just really hoping that it wasn’t going to be a Fable Legends reboot) I agree that we still don’t know much about the game.
A few of the quick flashes looked like gameplay. Running through the flames etc.. but who knows?
Which is remarkable really. The engine was specifically designed for racing games and yet is producing this beautiful fantasy open world action RPGAnd it’s the “forza tech” engine
Crazy for me to comprehend. To me it would be like God of War Ragnarok was created using the Gran Turismo engine. And it’s the “forza tech” engine
Maybe if your 13 year old was better with Blender we'd have better looking protagonists. Time to take some accountability. Can we get a protagonist that isn't ugly? I don't want them to be super attractive/sexualized, but could we have someone that doesn't look like my 13 year oldest first try on blender? Seems to be a trend lately. I remember in Mass Effect Andromeda I spent forever in the character creator trying to make someone who wasn't ugly. Failed. Non-ugly people exist too.
Ryder looked good. It was just the bad animations. Can we get a protagonist that isn't ugly? True, the male rider did look better than the female one.Ryder looked good. It was just the bad animations.
Other forum I read says that it has a character creator. I cannot confirm or deny the validity of the statement. Can we get a protagonist that isn't ugly? Sounds like you might be right if they're saying the trailer did show gameplay. There was too much camera movement (cinematically) for it to be standard gameplay video. If anything, they showed quick time event style moments, not the typical gameplay most of us are referring to.My guess is the battle from the trailer will play out in a more scripted tone. Bit like games like Bramble, Inside, little Nightmares and so on.
